Love your hauls as always! I really enjoyed March comes in like a lion, its a pure slice of life with hints of drama so I think you'll like it. Did a manga journal of Frieren bc of you hehe. Hoping to do more in the future, I see why you said you want to do it as soon as your done with a series bc if sometime passes I lose interest in journaling too.

how cool, you came to my neck of the woods for work! i live closer to cincinnati, and it's stressful driving in columbus, so i rarely go, but i'm glad you found a good bookstore there. i had not heard there's a spin-off of kimi no todoke. i loved the main series enough to try this one out, even if it involves a character i won't know anything about. i'm on the sixth novel for the alchemist who survived now dreams of a quiet city life, and it's good, so i think the manga will probably be pretty good. i don't want to spoil it by saying much other than it's a fantasy.
omg i rented a car while i was there and ... there was so much construction so it was pretty stressful driving around but i am glad i was able to hit up the bookstore. i highly recommend it if you're ever in the area!
I randomly discovered that bookshop in Columbus during the winter, and I loved it so much. It’s huge, and basically a maze. They have maps because otherwise you will be lost.
yes it was great!! someone at the site i was working at recommended it and i was not expecting it to be so big
i just got my copy of this volume of Kase-san and Yamada, it feels like i have been waiting FOREVER for it!

I read kimi ni todoke soulmate after only reading kimi ni todoke and it’s perfectly understandable and personally I think it’s adorable. I did feel like there were some backstories I was missing out on but it’s a good short read!

i never read crazy for you, but i still really enjoyed knt soulmate!! i could def tell that there was a tiny bit of backstory w some of the charas in cfy that i wasn’t familiar with, but i didn’t feel like i needed to know any of that the follow the main plot, which is like entirely focused on kurumi’s pov. i do have some friends that read cfy before reading soulmate, and from what i’ve heard, it didn’t seem like it was all that worth it…

Thank you! And I thought the last arc was kind of meh. Not enough to ruin the whole story for me but just unnecessary. The rest of the story is good enough for me to recommend it though and the actual ending was fine
I placed a B&N order for manga, it was packaged in a very thin bag like Amazon uses, the top volume was so damaged. So I had to drive all the way to the nearest location to process an exchange, they didn’t have it in stock so they had to ship it to my house again. I was worried, it came in another bag but this one had a little padding. Luckily it was undamaged
ya :/ barnes is not the best packaging-wise. it doesn't bother me too much unless the volume is completely bent up. the store with the best packaging imo is instocktrades
