Davud, I'm from Bangladesh. U misunderstood that gentle man. He didn’t try to control u. He was trying to help u selflessly, this is very common and important part of Bangladeshi culture. He was telling u to seat in that shop, bkz he wanted to make u comfortable, that u can seat and have tea. Actually he wasn’t telling u history, but thanking u for helping us in 1971,freedom fighting considering u as Russian. It looks like he understands english a bit, not much. Another man was saying that his ring's stone is coral. My english is also poor. Hope u understand.

He also came to Pakistan but no one told him the history here. They can also tell the history that how Bengali people were in Pakistan movement before 1947. But after a short time they forgot the struggles of their ancestors. After that, they fought for their language and forgot their previous dreams. (Even they started depending on India then to become independent. What a joke!)
Pakistani people didn't tell him the history because they know to respect a tourist and not to tell a boring history in which he was not interested. The Bangladeshi man was thanking Russia and India but the tourist was not from Russia and he was not asking for such a history class.
We Pakistanis don't tell true or false stories of history to a foreign tourist who come to experience the beauty, tranquility and peace of our amazing land but sorry to say, many Indians & Bangladeshi do !

It was nice and funny to see the "dialogue" between the history teacher passionately explaining about Pakistan, to the student who sits and looks and nods his head in agreement and full understanding. Davud, you have a wonderful talent for improvisation, but the teacher also has the talent to "have the audacity" to invite himself to tea. The teacher took advantage of Davud, when he saw him paying for the meal of his friends at the table, he thought "why not... Davud can also pay for my tea". This is a problem sometimes in our society where people don't know the line between a request and a demand.❤🌺❤

Hundreds of Christians in the Indian state of Orissa have been forced to renounce their religion and become Hindus after lynch mobs issued them with a stark ultimatum: convert or die.
The wave of forced conversions marks a dramatic escalation in a two-month orgy of sectarian violence which has left at least 59 people dead, 50,000 homeless and thousands of houses and churches burnt to the ground. As neighbour has turned on neighbour, thousands more Christians have sought sanctuary in refugee camps, unable to return to the wreckage of their homes unless they, too, agree to abandon their faith.

The history man was correct. there was USSR then and Azerbaizan was part of it and after dissolution of USSR the major portion became Russia. So, technically Davud or his ancestors then were Soviets/Russians and USSR sided with India against Pakistan & USA & China and that was an extremely crucial support for creation of Bangladesh.
However by the turn of the 21st century, according to me, all these nations Russia, China, India, Pakistan & Bangladesh are on the wrong side of humanity, not only in respect of the Ukraine war but internally within their respective countries too and that is amazing, sad, the tables have turned at an amazingly rapid pace and again goes on to prove that human beings can become very dangerous when they get some kind of power to decide fate of others.
It is in that light I always revisit the British period in India.
While they can be criticized for many incorrect decisions, they had also ushered in some epoch making changes which I feel had benefited many people around the world too.
I just wish that future generations are farsighted enough to understand the pitfalls of human weaknesses, probably that is why we still need a divine entity, symbolically neutral, beyond & above all of us

I am born and raised in Dhaka currently in CA. my impression is, a lot of us never have any issues regarding ideologies. But, the sad part is that those who have are very vocal and are the ones who are actively spreading hate. My mom's family actually migrated to Bangladesh from Murshidabad. Now, she was a very secular person but she always told me that during the independence from the British Raj everyone was very scared and things were very unpredictable. You may visit National museum of Bangladesh in Shahbagh area. It is one of the largest museums of Asia. You can visit Shahid Minar also. I want to request you to visit Ramna park at afternoon. You will love these places. Before leaving Dhaka you may visit Hatirjheel.

The place you have chosen for breakfast looks great and clean but disappointed this was missing your favorite "Chai" and also while you were enjoying your breakfast had to keep little patient because that nice gentleman disturb your conscious eating delivering his history speech.😊DAVUD here i love to add additional thing. That gentleman was a "character" in your video today. But i can't understand any single word that he said, therefore l love to tell you, hereafter if you can translate like this dialogues by someone who relate their country and add into your videos under the relevant speech as English subtitles. I had seen "Harald boldr" also doing like this. It's very entertaining and can enjoy it fully .This is not compare your videos with anyone else. Why I mentioned here, thought it would be more "POSH" your videos. If you don't agree with me IGNORE PLEASE. Much love from sri lanka❤🇱🇰🇱🇰🇱🇰🇱🇰
