funny how fishing for largemouth bass has lead me to learning this. Bass in my local reservoir eat bluegill, so I'm researching Bluegill life and found out they eat "Rotifers, copepods, water fleas, and insects (mainly chironomids)" That lead me here.
Yay! Rotifers! One of my favourite microscopic animals! These little creatures are just so interesting and they’re really kind of beautiful.

Well that's a neat little critter. I especially like their very active coronas. Too bad they are so short lived, though, huh?
Thanks for the video!
I learned myself a fun fact about rotifers the other day, they are the smallest arthropods!
jesse fp Rotifera are in their own phylum, not in the Arthropoda
other side of Protostomia. rotifers are spiralians, arthropods are ecdysozoans.
Amazing....can only guess how important these creatures to the entire ecosystem of life on this planet
amazing videos
Thanks so much!
Some of these bad boys were frozen I ice for millions of years and when unfrozen, starting eating and reproducing
These are bioengineered microscopic attack animals. Their origins are from what I call amoeba and paramecium.
Whaf is the name of red organ?
