My family and a friend went all three days of opening weekend, and the amount of people didn't look to be any different than the past three years when we went in October. The lines were long but they moved quickly and we got into the gate soon after opening cannon and didn't miss the show just inside the gate. It was a great experience for three of us (my son didn't like being there), and as we drove to faire on Labor Day we decided we will be back next opening weekend. We were in the Tipsy Cauldron with the Lady Victoria as the parade passed by, so I looked for any of my group but we must have been in shadow.
I personally love getting pretzel from there, the pretzel people are always so hard to find but the pretzel lady was so nice. You have to say later next time cause closeing gate and the song at the Y Bridge is so fun!
I went opening weekend as well, but opted for the labor day Monday instead. Best decision of my life since it was still no lines for anything, by the high was something like 79 and sunny - literally the perfect day!
Absolutely! I didn't mean to be misleading - I just wanted to point out that they are in the same space as the joust. I highly recommend their show, it was fantastic!
Love this vlog. I'm going for time travel weekend next week. If you go to the special event booth, you can get a DD wristband and get free water. And then I bring electrilyte powder to put in the water.
What's your favorite spot to visit at the Ohio Renaissance Festival?

@@keithlewis5529 I LOVE the Whimsy Woods area! I have to try the pub - I need to find a place to sit/rest during the faire

That's a great perspective, I've been wondering how the full capacity days were going! It's also such a small world!

What a great tip! I'll have to check them out next season!
Thank you for the info!

I'm happy you had such a great day! I always forget that they do Labor Day Monday - I might try that next year.
Equestrian Chaos is their own trick riding and trick archery show separate from the joust.

OMG HANNAH HIII The algorithm brought me to you!! 💞 Amazing video! 🥰
Hi!!!!! Thank you!!! (and happy that the algorithm brought you to me!)

Such a great tip! Thanks for sharing!
Nice video! 1572 BBQ is terrible. I took one bite of pork and one bite of mac n cheese. It's only plus is it's proximity to the 3 Fools Pub. :/
Thank you! Glad to know it's not just me!
Loved Divinci's pizza, 6 bucks a slice but its a big slice. All the other food lines were ridiculously long on the 26th when I went.
@@BarrengerFynar I'll have to check them out next time!
