as usual football at the olympics is boycott by FIFA (they dont want this tournement become a competition to the World Cup) so is not mandatory for the clubs to release the players so most european clubs wont let the players go, as a consecuence this tournement is just a youth tournement with secondary importance
A totally underwhelming team. A ton of players were not released who could have played. Pepi and Luna are huge misses. Mihalovic is a good player but he is not a dominating midfielder and struggles above a certain level.
RACISM in American Soccer!! U.S has the second largest Mexican population in the world. Yet, the percentage of Mexican Americans playing for the U.S is less than 10%. How is that possible? Diego Luna was Discriminated against for being Mexican! That's the reason he said "NO" to being an alternative.

I would mark it off to old-timey USSF English speakers anxious being unable to control someone who spoke another language. We saw that with Klinsmann to an extent as well.

yes but USA doesn't get to play the Euros in between WC, so we need the olympics more than Uefa teams.
