*I am a big fan of kingdom Rush series.
*I have never bought a hero or used extra items from the shop to win the game.
*I believe the developers did a pretty good job with these games, that you can always figure out a way to win them without the extras.
*I have finished all the 4 parts in Veteran or Impossible mode
*I have finished all the Iron and Heroic challenges in Hard mode (Except 2 levels in the first part and I don't think I will ever able to finish them in hard mode)

The two snipers look like tusken raiders from star wars (tusken raiders are the guys on the planet tatooine and they use some sort of sniper rifles too so it might be a reference to them since they look similar and they also do the little celebration where they put their gun over their head and do that weird sound)
I just googled Tusken raiders and realised there is a lot of resemblance.
I am sure it’s a reference.

If you like tower defence/strategy games, kingdom rush is one of the best(the best in my opinion).
You will really like it.
The game is simple, engaging with cool characters and has a good story line.
The first part of the game is free in AppStore and play store.
There are total 4 parts and they are all below 4 usd.
Make sure, you do not buy any add on hero’s as they will spoil the game by making it easy.
The two sniper in frontier (actually only one of them shoot) will shoot at both enemies and your units. So techically they are not special tower but rather environment hazard.

Yes it is the strongest special tower in the whole series.
And it is almost impossible to win those stages in hard mode without the shrine of regnos.
Especially the iron challenges.
