Also, Necrit is canon in the Lore, he is Nunyo Necritos of Camavor. He's an historian and one of the advisers of Viego.
It probably already has been suggested to you, but in case you didn't know, Riot released a 5 part docuseries about creation of Arcane, called "Arcane: Bridging the Rift". It is amazing and I highly recommend to watch it. It is on official League of Legends TH-cam channel.
Just to clarify, the ancestors of the vastaya were the Vastayashai'rei, a group of mortals that became spiritually enlightened, gaining immense power. Each Vastayashai'rei was connected to a different animal and gained the ability to shapeshift into said animal. Despite their power, they did not consider themselves greater than non-enlightened mortals, and still had children with them, giving rise to the vastaya, who are half mortal and half Vastayashai'rei.
Edit: Another thing: hex crytals are contain the souls of the brackern, giant crystal scorpions. They originally slumbered under the sands of Shurima and were completely defenseless when Piltovans started raiding their dens for their crystals. Hextech is essentially powered by the energy of brackern souls, which is extremely painful. Skarner is the only one of them who woke up, and he now works to protect the brackern that are left and try to find the brackern crystals/hex crystals.

League can be fun with Friends and very toxic playing alone sometimes, I just play with friends doing fun and silly stuff. Playing alone can be stressful because you can encounter a lot of toxic players so I run from that. Love you videos so much!!! Have a great day :3

Yeah the end game zones would 100% be northern Freljord (like near the Howling Abyss where the Watchers are sealed), Targon and the Shadow Isles. Not just because these regions would have some of the most fearsome foes but it's good game design to put the hardest content on the outskirts so new players don't blunder on level 100 celestial dragons and get insta-roasted and these three regions are furthest from the map's center
Necrit-Sama gain so much following with this video its insane. he deserves it. He has been doing videos forever.

Btw, Lord of the Rings Online did release, and it's still running, with a surprisingly high playerbase for such an old MMO that never broke into the mainstream. I've played it quite a bit, and it was fun. It's amazing running around the world, they were really faithful in their adaption of it from the books.

It would be funny if Jhin instead of boss will be quest giver. Only you don't know that this good stage worker is infamous killer and all resources he ask you to find will be used for murder in most beautiful way. After chain of quest he thanks you and ask to come for a performance soon, and when you come you find slaughter with bodies of victims twisted in horrific and same time beautiful way. And if you find additional resources which really hard to get in time and give them to him with necessary objectives, on the stage you will find letter with gratitude to your name for patronizing this performance and some powerful weapon as a gift.

One thing, you were talking about the differences between a Darkin and an Ascended boss fight, but the reason why Necrit was saying that that is impossible is because there are no more ascended, the only ones left are Azir, Nasus, Renekton and Xerath, everyone else became the Darkin.
Well I could se a Renektong Fight ... since you know he mad ... in both meaning of the word
Renekton and Xerath would be considered a Darkin too because they don't act like what the ancient Shurimans used to see

So depends on what definition of Darkin you use ...
As for Xerath would be more Baccai as he is not an true ascended ... an extremely powerful one but still basically a failed ascended so a Baccai ...
And especially in the current day of Runeterra they would not be called darking since they are not bound to a weapon ...

Now, the pre-Darkin studied forbidden sorceries (like Xerath) they mastered primal magics. To add, Xolaani did not invent hemomancy. Once this tyrants started to behave different, that's when they were called "Darkin". Basically the definition of it was "the fallen". Not only if they're bound to weapon or usage of blood magic. If the usage of blood magic is the case, wouldn't be Vladimir would be considered a Darkin? No. You're saying like the Darkin War happened while they're sealed in a weapon sheesh
As for Xerath. You should know how the Sun Disc works. It don't matter what they would be called (Ascended and Baccai)
The Sun Disc is like an injection to celestial magic/power; depends on what ideal/culture/tradition it would transfer to. Basically Xerath has been a slave for his lifetime. All he have in his mind is being free (and being powerful so no one can step on him anymore) free from chains (mortal limitations)
The reason he's called a Baccai because he don't look like the rest of what the Shuriman Ascended should.

I think I speak for all of the fans of league's lore that we are hyped for this new MMO. They have everything they need, so I'm hoping that they don't fuck up. THIS CAN BE THE GAME THAT REVIVE THE MMO GENRE, PLEASE BE GOOD FFS
a poro getting a mustache has it specifically cause braum is the one that fed it. also in aram (that stands for all random all mid for those not versed in LoL terminology) if you give a single poro a total of 10 poro snax it will explode into more poros (and if it has a mustache upon exploding all the poros that come from it will also have a mustache)
My impression to the regions as a Genshin player:
- Freljord = Snezhnaya (Snowy Nordic Region)
- Demacia = Mondstadt (Medieval European Castle)
- Ionia = Sumeru's Rainforest (Spirit of Nature)
- Shurima = Sumeru's Desert (Ancient Egypt Vibe)
- Piltover & Zaun = Fontaine (Cyberpunk)
- Ixtal = Inazuma (Isolated Region)
- Noxus = Natlan (Values strength above all)

No they are not... Those 2 cities share A "Fantasy Steampunk" aesthetic, this aesthetic is unique only in these 2 cities, and in the rest of the world is nowhere to be found.
If people who have no idea about the game or the lore start there, this cities will give the wrong impression of the entire world. They are bassically Alien cities.
And remember that first impressions are very important, if you start a game and your first impression is "Fantasy Steampunk" but as soon as you go out of the starting zone everything goes back to "Medieval Fantasy" its alienating... Of course if you know what to expect it wouldnt surprise you but to people who dont know anything and go blind, they would be confused. It would be straight up horrible game design.
The reasoning for this would be because piltover and zaun have been explored in arcane and as someone who came from arcane originally - other new people may come from that route too! I would deffo prefer it as an expansion but I dont think its a bad starter region either
@@georgieegames Yeah but Arcane does makes the same mistake of starting on the most unique 2 cities in the entire world (to date), Ive heard and spoke with people who believed all of Runaterra was Steampunk stuff until I had to explain it, its only on those 2 cities and Arcane happens there, but the rest of the world is.. Medieval, Only.
Also Current Piltover and Zaun are more advanced than their Arcane versions (this is my opinion though), so again.
Making people start in Advanced cities that have vehicles and stuff, for them to go out and everyone using horses... Its weird.
@@TheMaxCloud Eh in the end it depends on perspective, I necessarily dont think its a mistake because if by following your logic it still is weird for it to be the other way around but I understand what your trying to say because Piltover/Zaun is quite advanced when compared to other regions.
The main reason I think they started with Piltover and Zaun was it is the closest to our current era, how it pictures the difference in status and nobility,corruption etc. Followed by how it is placed pretty much in the middle of everything this allows them to expand either ways. Like how Mel Medarda is a Noxian aristocrat based in Piltover and them introducing her mother it, they can eventually move to Noxian if they want and because Arcane lore is not necessarily follow all of League Lore they can make a lot of things happen like maybe an interaction between the Chrono Mages and Ekko or even just from Noxian to Shurima and so on and forth idk
Honestly I could see Noxus, Piltover/Zaun, and Demacia all being the starting areas. Depends if they have a 2 part system for pvp or not as well as maybe stating jobs. If there is a big 2 part war going on for pvp itll be Demacia and Noxus with maybe Piltover being a neutral one who can pick either, so that could easily be a starting city which you swiftly get sent as a diplomatic envoy or something to those two and choose a side, or you pick which you start in and itll just be those two.
If it is based on jobs, I could see all 3 being starters, Piltover/Zaun for jobs revolving around tech, maybe rouges as well or whatever equivalent they will have. Noxus would be any warrior class starting area, and Demacia honestly I would say any mages might start here and the whole starting area quests for you would be escaping the mage hunters, then you get to the main hub city and link up on the main storyline. As far as main hub goes it could just be Noxus since it is so vast, or even Piltover since they are more neutral between the two.

Sylas would be a very good champion for your next character exploration video, he explains the demacian civil war pretty well, I mean he started it
MMOs do take a lot of time, you got the engine to make, all the assets that need designed for everything, quest lines both main and side, raids, the world itself, the mobs, the npcs, character creation, skills/balance among the classes, chat system, finding a server to handle all those people and not crash/lag all the time, the storyline, the actual gameplay and battle system. Not to mention ongoing future plans for all of this, its a huge undertaking, all the things you need in a game, and then some as it is like a living, always changing game.
I am sure I am leaving something off too, that is just off the top of my head.

If you want quest about Fiddle terrorising village.... Read Lux's short story "For Demacia". There is Nocturne instead scarecrow but still cool
Singed for sure is a madman. He is an absolut brilliant alchemist but he dosent have any ethics or morality in what he does or how he does it. So there is nothing stopping him from doing anything he wants just to get the outcome he needs. They even hinted on it in Arcane when Singed talked to Victor that he hade to part ways with Heimerdinger becouse Heimer just hade to many demands on safety for him. If u read through hes League storys hes Arcane version will start to look like an angel in comparison. Singed isent just a mad scientist, he is THE mad scientist.

and then gives Georgie(Student) a quiz about what she learned.

I also recommend checking out Shambits Gaming channel. His channel is pretty new but he is gaining attention lately because of the mmo and people interested in Lore. He has both MMO related videos and Lore videos where he explains how each region works and what their history is. I recommend starting with Noxus will Rise.

Demacia : Need to go a compromise road, mage partialy free but under mage seekers watch.
because a compromise leave faction active anti mage will think it's too much, and pro mages it not enough... unsatisfy people are truble maker for later in a story.

i do think piltover and zaun should also be part of the base world. a couple of reasons, one arcane season 2 will be out before the mmo so to not have it at the start and be a year or two after launch is a bit late. second piltover and zaun are going to be great gateways to other areas like ionia, bilgewater and shurima. to make those areas wait cause you need to expand piltover and zaun first then do one or two of those areas after feels like you are trying to milk expansions instead of making a good game. wow has done this and it worked for a short while but it is now falling apart. the 3rd thing is we know there are some late expansions to come like the shadow isles and the new area that the ruined king is from so to waist time on something that shouldnt wait seams a bit to much. and for those that cant understand this point tldr is not make all of it at once but not each zone needs to be a expansion by itself and piltover and zaun should skip the expansion and just be part of the base game.
It would also really help the newcomers who don’t really play LoL, be able to join and start form an area they know form the show, it could be a good area for them to get acquainted with what they know and form there have them branch into the world and explore!

Necrit's cool until he brings his own ideas to the table. WoW 2.0 is what he'd want the game to be... ugh. Also he borderline defamed Riot by misrepresenting the lore in his races and classes video which you know, knowing lore and communicating it accurately is his only job. It was concerning the Vastayashai'rei. Personally I'm turned off by his videos for the time being which is a shame cuz I'm eagerly waiting for actual news about the game.
