I feel for these guys because they didn’t get the financial freedom like other bands and they well deserve it .Top 5 bands in my book with VAN HALEN AND THE EAGLES AND AC/DC LED ZEPPLIN GOOGOO DOLLS.Can’t get much better than that .

This version sounds sooo modern, and I'm loving it. Also, am I the only one who really likes the way John has adjusted his tone of voice, and singing style to sound more modern? I believe it's intentional on his part. The funny thing is, that he sounds more boyiah now, in his fifties than he did way back. This guy is ever evolving, and it's so cool to see. LOVE this track, so pleased he's keeping it alive, we had it playing at our wedding (over 6 years ago) and takes me straight back there, very emotional.... I've been catching up though and my most recent favourite is the gorgeous "As I Am"... makes me bawl every time, reminds me of my very flawed (aren't we all though) but beautiful boyfriend who gave up on himself and passed away unintentionally through bad decisions 7 years ago. I loved him as he was, always did, always would.
I have heard and watched him perform all these songs before and love them all but this time he seems really sad, like something is weighing heavy on him.
You obviously haven't been keeping up with them over the last 11 years and lol The song isn't even 19 years old, you fraud. The song is only about 15 years old give or take. You've been listening to the wrong song that's why it's so "different"
I love this song and I love this performance but John Rzeznik is the perfect example of how plastic surgery can make someone less attractive... It looks like his skin is stretched across his face.

My favorite version of Slide, could have used another 15 minutes of the improv, as it was really still revving up in the end..
