Yep.. I didn’t want to say this incase I got hated but when people were saying is this a normal thing for women to say I felt like screaming because no it’s not ! No empathy at all for cis women and what this does for us. She’s basically saying it’s ok you can get away with this if you want because I don’t believe in harming the attacker .. that is VERY dangerous logic which could actually do more harm to us.
It's not even that being trans is even relevant to the conversation, every human being should not even come up with these takes, what the "feminists" say about rape and what she says about them is almost purely a minority and terminally online, the definition of what is rape has never changed no matter who says what. Any human being who can rationalize should know that rape is absolutely depraved and egregious to our society. Logically I would put murder below rape because they no longer have to suffer through the depraved act of unlawfully and in the moral definition taking the life of a human being. Rape and torture scars you, and you can never recover from it, and some victims attempt to rationalize why the mistake of a multicellular organism didn't murder them to save them of the lifelong torture they endure. It's atrocious that she decided this was a good idea, and if this was for clout then I hope it was worth it then. And let me add to the "price of raising a child you don't want", it's possibly the price of a child that has to suffer because they cannot even adequately raise the child. Pacifism can only go a long way, and every pacifist I know understands that there is a line when using force to maintain peace is necessary and for some reason she has two lines, there's no point in two lines if what you don't stand for can easily just walk right through. This is such an extreme logical standpoint towards rape, it's like a robot without any empathy or moral compass coming up with a conclusion about the effects of rape and murder, of course somebody dies and the robot understands that but the robot physically cannot empathize with the rape victim because it lacks the empathy or moral sense it needs to recognize the true effects of it. It's actually insane how people think like this, but then again im also glad the ratio of people who don't believe in this is greater. This is why I love freedom of speech, because it easily tells us who to avoid. Sorry for the mini essay, I hope my rant about this absolutely nefarious and repugnant take is worth the read though.

Just found that she is trans. This made so much sense because I’ve never heard a woman talk so nonchalantly about the effects of rape. No offense to her, but she needs to educate herself on what rape is to women. More then just a dude getting his rocks off. It’s power and dominance over someone justified as weaker. I feel they have a fetish for it, and so is downplaying it as being not “extreme.” They romanticize the assaulter as someone that can def redeem themselves for the better, eventually, but the victim themselves just have to “take it.”

I feel like we are taught as women from a very young age that we are in danger a lot and need to protect ourselves and be aware of our surroundings. When rose spoke I’m so sorry but I got scared and angry at her. How can she still think this way after being trans .. she should have some idea what we go through as women or at least educate herself.

Can we please explain to Rose that most of the time, the person being violated probably is just as scared that once they are violated, they may be killed as well. You yourself are scared for your life and don't know how far they will go.
Not to mention a victim being assaulted is in an extremely heightened mental state. Adrenaline pumping, panic, brain going in 10 different directions trying to survive, cope with the trauma actively being created, etc. Nobody even knows how they're going to react in a situation like that, you don't even have a choice in how you react, its instinct. Some people become feral and fight viciously, clawing at eyes, biting, etc. and on the opposite end of the spectrum some go catatonic and are practically unconscious, and no one has a choice as to which way their brain goes.

Theres a certain contingent of trans women who hate cis women with a passion for what should be obvious reasons. They like to downplay all female issues that they can't personally experience as not being a big deal and try to elevate their own issues above all else.
I've literally seen trans women say that being raped is a privilege because it means men are attracted to you as a woman and that cis women are probably secretly proud of being raped so often because it proves their 'value' as women. I've also seen them say they wish theyd be raped and that it's a fetish they're into. Obviously not all trans women, and the rates of rape amongst trans women is actually pretty high since many are sex workers, but they're out there. She's clearly one of them.

Watched the Destiny and Aba debate and they basically had to do this. Respectfully, you have to treat him like a dog you are trying to train, with firm respect, not allowing the dog to control the situation but not in a way that degrades it and doesn't make the dog feel like it is being disrespected or at least you know for certain you aren't being rude.
Destiny avoided his traps by not escalating with him when he hurled insults (Destiny ignored the "weak man" implication when sneako tried to talk over him and tell him he was a feminist by basically agreeing that he was and immediately getting back to his point and not entertaining strawman talking points/arguments. Aba flat out told him to breath and relax or told him that they agree and to relax or that he understood his rage or just told him to hold on when sneako tried to jab at Aba for being terminally online because it had little to do with the point he was about to make really).
Also,he is not going to respect you initially because you have less subs than him, something I noticed more when he starts getting upset about something, he will treat you differently then, I've noticed this point in contention about him that I'm not sure if he does intentionally... Brittany had to talk around this by showing him that she was qualified to speak on what she was talking to him about before he chilled out and seemed to listen even. In fact, ask her how you should debate him for pointers.

Yeah, twitch enforces it under ban evasion, although I don't know if it explicitly says non-live vids from banned streamers are TOS. Initially, the idea was that they didn't want channels restreaming a banned streamer live, thus almost acting as an alt for the banned streamer. For a long time, people watched content and VODs from banned streamers with no punishment, then all of a sudden they started cracking down on people watching longer non-live vids. Not long after that, even showing small clips from banned streamers has gotten people banned. In the case of Destiny, it's mostly streamers he worked with closely who were banned for showing his clips. I'm not IN a lot of other communities on twitch, so take this with a grain of salt, but from my vantage point it seemed like a targeted campaign to erase any memory of Destiny from the platform.
