I had quite a time on the first puzzle. I got stuck about 15 minutes in with what seemed to be a deadly pattern, but one which spread across many boxes. I spent a few more minutes trying to figure out where the one cell was that would break everything open... and finally spotted that I had made a typo, pencil-marking one of the 17 boxes with 78 instead of 89! Quite frustrating, because I had done that right at the start of the puzzle and it had affected everything afterward. So I basically had to start over. The second time through was better. That time was 11:40, solver number 1043. But with the 22:07 from the first attempt, my time was really 33:47. The second puzzle was even better than the first. This one I was able to solve in 7:45, solver number 646.
05:26 for the first one
05:55 for the second one, that was my favorite. The interaction between boxes 4, 5 and 6 were quite lovely!
Thanks ☺
