The question that arises is, it just by being ferocious, always fighting and showing temper at anything? Rahul Gandhi was disqualified because when a court convicts an MP, he gets disqualified automatically. As per this rule, Rahul was disqualified & we always knew that his membership would be restored if higher court stays conviction.
But in Mahua Moitra's case, supreme court can't do anything coz there's already precedence that in 2005, 11 MPs were disqualified over cash for query, 6 of them were BJP MPs. They went to SC & the court upheld the parliament's decision to expel MPs. The same law applied to Mahua.

Seems the selective interpretation and hypocrisy looks to be norm with the so called parliament mockery being the routine, this case of breach of confidentiality being prime matter which is serious issue but irony is not lost where in the foul mouthed members and other people are garlanded indirectly with nothing being done and more or less same case being in othet house!! High time the rules and legislative points in such cases are revisited and reframed to avoid selective interpretation and favouritism and what aboutery and history excavation be avoided!!

It's unfortunate that our Temple of Democracy is brought to so low level by some Members that go beyond any Decorum. I wonder it should be treated as Disciplinary Proceedings of Parliament to restraint any Members showing Disrespect to Democracy. Ethics Committee is empowered to take the Decision against any wrongdoings and Parliament plays as Controller. Her Hostilities inside the Parliament do really require further any discussion. If so, Members approach show also lack of Decorum and an attempt to go berserk by any Member inside Parliament. Principles of Natural Justice comes under exclusive rights of Ethics Committee to examine during Examination and Cross Examination. Let not get spoiled by useless Discussion to such cases in future.
