Sir, there is little gap/mistake in the information you provided. Classification of drone is as below -
Nano - less than 250g
Micro - 250g - 2kg
Small - 2kg to 25kg
medium - 25 kg to 125kg
Large - above 125kg
Medium is missing in your presentation and discussion. And weight mentioned for small drones is also wrong, its for medium.

Thank you for the information sir, but my great concern is - what about tourists from other countries, like uk usa, japan, Australia? can they bring their drone into India ? Because India is beautiful country and all tourists wants to take drone footage where there is allowed and possible area , If drone is not allowed in India , Then why they made drone rules and regulations? All over the world below 250g drone is allowed . But india is -Incridibal !! Of course tourist are willing and happy to pay fee for the drone ,I think Indian Government , Avation and tourism ministry's need to think this matter seriously and consider sir ?
Dear Viewer - There are no restrictions in bring the drone for self use as Foreigners are allowed to do so with declarations made on arrival. Sealed packed drones are generally not allowed as they are Subject to Resale.
Beyond this, there are different airline rules which are subject to different nationals.
Its unfortunate that drones are being restricted in our country due to security concerns in most of the monuments and beautiful places.

Dear Viewer- Pls ensure to carry the batteries , rechargeable cable in the hand baggage and folded drone in the luggage.
Don’t keep original packaging of drone rather keep only the carry case.

Dear Viewer - Pls visit the website to see the zones wherein you are allowed to fly drones or not. You may also take permission from Local Police or concerned authorities like Zonal Office of Forest Deptt to avoid any confusion or legal action during shooting. The movies shoots are allowed by them on certain conditions. Local liaisoning person shall be more effective in this scenario.

Sir i have told my friend to bring me a used Dji air 3 a micro class drone will there be any customs issue if he told them it only for his personal use not for commercial uses please reply If possible I am eagerly waiting for it 🙏
Dear Viewer - Importing Drone (commercial or personal) is not allowed and banned but lot of people still do it. In case where it is found by customs, they may confiscate the same. Tell your friend to keep batteries and remote in handbag and drone in luggage. No box to be carried.
I would still suggest not to do it as the drone will have several issues in operating air space of india and also doesn’t have any warranty by company.

Agar koi family friend USA se drone khud ke naam pe purchase karke lata hai to kya INDIA mein import duty dena padega ya without duty la sakta hai. Non commercial use ke liye india mein wo drone use kar sakta hai kya.
Dear Viewer - Pls note that if any foreigner is carrying a drone with him for non commercial purpose, there is no question of import duty. But if any Indian carrying drone with him sealed pack box (with or without bill) then the custom officer may ask for custom duty to be paid.

Dear Viewer - Import of drone for any purpose is prohibited in India but people still take risk and keep the batteries in the hand baggage and drone in the luggage.
In case found, the drone is confiscated at airport. Beyond this, there is not software of hardware support for drones procured from outside India.

You have to declare to airline before boarding the flight if you are carrying Drone.
Pls also keep chargers, batteries etc in the hand bag and drone between clothes in check in baggage.
Buy only DJI drones for professionals shooting but they also don’t have warranty in India.

Dear Viewer - Can you pls elaborate the term “backyard” ? There are private places and public places. Flying and recording in private places with the intention to publish it may attract penalties subject to the laws of the state.
In public places also, there are restrictions in some places. If you are in India, pls refer to the flying zones specified in the website mentioned in the video.

Dear Amit - Yes, there are separate rules for forest department. Videography is prohibited to restrict poachers and criminals. However, permission for drones Videography is granted by forest on application subject to the approval from Deptt head of the area.

Dear Vishal -Legally procurement of drone outside India is not allowed. You can carry drone in luggage and battery in cabin bag. The drone should be opened without sealed. In case customs find the same and then it is a problem and you need to convince them that this is for your own use.

Dear Naman - Car and Bike can be taken to another state for travel purpose but to transfer the vehicle permanently, re-registration is required to be done.
