- As multi-talented actors and entertainers, Will Smith and his son Jaden Smith know their names draw attention. And it’s for that reason that, for the last several years, the they have kept quiet about their involvement in JUST Water, a bottled water brand that comes in 82 percent recyclable packaging. As Will tells it, they didn’t want to distract consumers from the brand’s message about environmental sustainability and make them think it was just another vanity project from a celebrity family in Hollywood.
But now the Smiths are preparing to take a more public role to support the brand they helped build both financially as investors and conceptually as co-founders. Will and Jaden sat down with BevNET at Natural Products Expo West 2018 in Anaheim, Calif. to discuss the brand’s recent move into flavored SKUs, how they have helped develop both the commercial and mission-based sides of the company, how they’re using their media platform to build a disruptive brand, and a new initiative to donate bottled water to Flint, Mich., which is still without clean drinking water two years on from its lead contamination crisis.

People in the world may judge Jaden because they don’t understand him in terms of style, music, etc. but his vibes are great! This man is so inspirational and positive and mature and so much more it’s amazing! Will and Jada definitely raised him right, without a doubt and I have utmost respect for him, always have. He’s unique; very different from everyone else and he’s badass💯 From his music to style, acting, this brand, his genuine caring for the environment, he’s a phenomenal guy and I can’t wait to see all the many awesome things I know he’ll do. I really hope this infused water takes him far while helping to spread awareness about plastic waste and I hope I can buy loads of them

They have so much money that they can just go on and not give a fuck about society. They chose to actually do something right, getting rid of plastic bottles by creating this box water. Jaden was 11 years old when he created this idea and used his money and influence to do something with it.

I'm pretty sure the bottles made of plastic that are reused from a short documentary of following jaden as he goes to schools and he actually brings a desk made from bottle of water they use.
I thinks it's sad you add to something so awesome by adding something that was not needed. And to actually reuse trash in just water bottles is Great. He trying to keep plastic that will never stop being used out of the environment and always recycled through this company.

This is awesome, proud of these guys as a family and individuals. This is a great concept , a mild suggestion would be to revise the packaging and branding (logo is just not out there or memorable...). It is not package easy to carry, would be lost in displays in aisles, a recyclable twist bottle would be ideal and versatile, easy to fit in bags, car cup holders etc...small packaging details I think
