I don’t know if anyone will read this essay I wrote but I think it was a great change, less call of duty hairball fights, and more long range defending. My go to strat is climb to 16000 to 20000ft (I wish it could be higher but AFs are too close :( . I track aircraft flying low and fast towards me on TWS to around 160,000ft (45-50km), fire fox 3s. At this point always expect missile to be in the air so I turn left while making sure TWS is still tracking. At this point I do one of two things, If I don’t receive a radar track I will continue TWS to the point of impact OR (the likely situation) a missile starts tracking you (pitbull). By this point your missile will have gone far enough to track by itself (reminder, the longer you have TWS track the less time your opponent has time to defend). I do a 90-180, point down and stay down low and fast going away from the missile. 95% of the time the missile usually loses track or is to slow to catch up. Personally ive had a lot of luck doing this with both the 54 and 120a :)
please dont tell people how all of that works. i waited so long for the time where skill and knowledge actually matters and now, finally it will be like this!
Lowering multi path was a bad idea it makes game play more worse grinding planes will be ass, if u have bad missies/ radar, ur fucked , if u don’t have a good rwr ur fucked.
There are still ways to avoid and dodge these missiles, just made a video on it. But yeah grinding is gonna be a little more difficult but so far the update hasnt been that bad for me
See when your launching an AIM-120 from 30-45km out at 15000+ft its easy to sit there and say this is a good change. Unlinke me where I'm still looking to get to those f-15s or what plane has those capabilities, I'm getting sucked off by people with such capabilities stating that this is a "good change". Maybe the snail just needs to make the advanced stuff more available to the average or casual player because buying a premium account is damn near a necessity when it comes to climbing the ranks in this game.
I personally have 1 top tier plane, the f-16J *working on the f-15J*, hopefully with this upcoming update when they start giving planes aim-120's, the f-16J is one of them. Then again the f-16J is one of the fastest planes in the game in my opinion. Stubbled on this video when just watching random vids figured I'd say F it an comment.
@@TheHarbinger827 I mean if you can teach Ill listen, I just know by instinct to stay off radar by flying low, and away from the center of the map, so i can close that 30-40km gap to like 15-20km for my AIM-7F's to do some work, AIM-9Ls for 5-8kms. I also only fly with about 30% of fuel with a fuel tank, I don't expect to make it back to the airfield.
AIM-54 will be the true king, because now datalink can guide all 6 Phoenixes in TWS also it will gain the same advantages of lowered multipath, also F-14 will be the only one that can datalink 6 missiles all at once, the others will be limited to only 2
The multi path change would only be good if the maps get a significant size increase and they decrease player counts per game. Because if they dont the average game is still going to be the massive 16v16 fur ball but with unavoidable fox 3s.
According to gajin they cant make the maps bigger (the EC ones) due to server restrictions. i think the compromise we can come to is have the airfields and targets on the small ones spread out more, and players can spread out rather than fly into the center
I cant wait for the virtually impossible stock grind because you cant get close enough to use the stock aim 9l.
tbh this is an issue on gaijin's side, they are too greedy to just let ppl have amraams as stock
yeah someone playing the f15a or f16a is gonna have a rough time grind, mainly since theyll be out matched by fox3s
@@TheHarbinger827 and everyone stock grinding the F-4F ICE will crave the sweet release of death
As a SIM player, after an update goes live. I'm going to see Denmark/Sinai 24/7, flat AF, easy to go below 20m, let alone 50m.
Fr...for me spain and afghan are the best tho are rarely seen because of how dificulty is to abuse mp on them....
bro its lready sainai denmark 24/7 lol
I prefer sinai and afgan as well, Denmark is always just chaos

Forgot to add, drop chaff when missile is pitbull. It helps a lot :)

we really need new game modes the normal air rb mode is just not it for top tier.

I might make a response video to this, not in a hostile way but bringing up your point cuz it’s actually a good one. And be able to give feedback

8 AIM-120As vs 6 AIM-54Cs... ill take the AIM-120As even if i only had 2
