Another great video. I've been starting my pulls from across where you do it from on that tall rise where you usually jump down to Hakkar (with Noggen). That way I didn't have to do the swim to target that second to last group of mobs. I do the pet pull, then shoot them, slow fall to close to where you start and continue normally from there. But this new method seems far more efficient - thanks again, Bog.

Hello. New to sod hunter and was wondering if the frost trap + trap launcher nerf was reverted? I saw that you used it in this video. Just wanted to make sure
Hi you can only launch the fire traps and freezing trap. Earlier in sod you could launch frost trap but that was stopped awhile ago, in this vid I only dropped frost traps no launch.
I rly cant figure out those crocs.. They act different with every single pull.. different pathing, sometimes just resetting even if i let them hit me.. it takes sometimes 20mins just to pull of the croc pull since they just do whatever they want. i tried different positions when waiting behind the tree, tried to let them hit me when there are just a few until the big pack is rly close.. nothing seems to work - it seems just totally random if they reset or not - and since the window to pull the tigers is rather small, its rly a fuckup if you need to do the croc pull 5 times
If there is 5 crocs in the 1st pack it's more difficult but once you aggro 1st pack run through without stopping tell you pass to the other side of the tree. Sometimes you can wait long and it'll be fine, but crocs can clog and if 1-2 stray look like they will you can quickly sprint jump sideways into the water to save the pull as they'll path around instead of getting stuck in the tree. Marking them makes it easier to see what's happening. If you are really struggling you can use panther stealth buff in a cleared instance with walk on water boots and body pull them all with your char if you have a 100% speed mount.
@@Bogpillz Thank you very much for answering. Ive tried a couple things.. I believe i found a "waiting" spot, where the chances of resets are very very low - its a bit further behind the tree basically forcing all of them to run the furthest possible circle. Everywhere else i tried was max 50% of success. (also the spot your showing in the video)

@@LTzoiberg 1 method is getting someone to invite an alt of yours to a group, convert to raid, then when you log out it'll make your alt leader after 2mins. You can reset while staying in the instance you'll be teleported to the front.
Sometimes resetting will randomly not work, if that happens you'll need another char in the group. Make that char leader, log out and try to reset with the second char. If it still doesn't work, log back to your first char and try again. Repeat until id is reset
The first vid I have also has a 2nd pull that grabs trolls and can add a serpent pack. If just starting this I'de do the crocs in 1 pull and skip the tigers until you can reliably clear the crocs. Then 2nd pull grab the trolls. Tigers were just for a little extra but if you mess up the croc round up more than a couple times the pat will be in the way of the tigers for a bit making it a waste to wait.
@@Bogpillz managed the pull in 5-10 minutes, but rope is cancer. They follow me and wont change path when im up... I backpeddle but one or more are left on me and it messes me up :(

@@derekshanahan8783 Health is probably better if using the improved eotb spec since you also get +15% health first row of bm. You could do armor though. I usually would prio armor vs melee and health vs casters but there are no casters in this. Here it doesn't really matter since your pet will only be getting hit a couple times a run anyways.
i dont know how you do it, but when i copy/paste this pull included the petpull on the other side, i always get the frenzies to hit me under the bridge, how do you avoid those to come ? used to work when i manually pull them (like on your first vid), pet pull is much safer but as i said, frenzies always wipe me under the bridge with this method
@@Yep_777 i've never had issues with frenzies unless I was freezing trapping 1. Send your pet across the water and let it die. Frenzy attacking shouldn't happen, maybe once to bad luck. Get to the bridge slower I think the faster you get to the bridge the frenzy will stay in combat and swim around.
@@Bogpillz indeed bad luck, had it the first 3 attempts back to back, never since then (running to fast to the bridge mightve been the issue, thats what i tried too to solute it, and it worked)
@@Yep_777 Yeah since if you run fast to the bridge and the fish is still in combat he can swim to under and attack. If you are on the land long enough he will deaggro before you get to the bridge.
What do you think? Is it possible to kill the tiger boss solo? back in classic i have done it with 2 hunter on the bridge with the raptor boss one on the left one on the right of the bridge.
@@bumper-z8o Yes you can! Just have your alt in a group and when you logoff your main and onto yout alt wait 2mins for group leader to pass and reset the instance on your alt, you'll be teleported to the instance front and all trash will have reset.
@@Norththeninja If you've cleared the raid you need to invite an alt to your group and logout within ZG then reset on the alt while your main is logged out. The trash will reset. You can also use 1 of the buffs at the entrance if in a raid where the bosses were killed.
@@papafruit when you clear zg all the boss buffs are teleported to the front of the entrance you can use 1 while farming. The snake buff does almost as much damage as explosive shot.

@@papafruit Put a frost trap at the top when you first run to the bridge and jump up and down off the rope to try to group them while they are not slow immune.
I've done a pull with panthers instead of tigers but they're annoying since they have 35k health, take a bit of time to kill and usually my croc pile ends up half on the hill cause I'm focused on jumping or edging away to get the panthers to path away from me xD

im going to start practicing this today, is it still the best way? no more mobs added?

What do you focus on for training points with your cat? Natural armor and HP? Or did you find it didn’t matter?

Check the hunter disc I saw zeroji was doing boss kills I think the tiger one took a long time but the raptor was more reasonable.
might be a dumb question, but can you do this on a cleared instance like after all the bosses are killed? since AFAIK the crocs arent killed.

@@sakmadik-r9jWhat works for me is stop moving 1s before recasting and don't move until 1s after it has refreshed.
Don’t let your pet die from the last pack, just run a little bit further away and your pet will despawn, so no need to ress him and feed :)
