But some advice for the stealth run in the stair, u could feign death IN the stair, u can pop the potion quickly that the mobs wont aggro and u hv more time to get the top without getting aggro.. For me when I'de directly hit gordok on pull with my wolf (not a body pull) they wouldn't be linked, but someone said for them it was the opposite. If they are linked you can feign and try again, they shouldn't be linked every time! Also grats on the rings!
@@chestnut-v8h Do you let your pet hit gordok on pull then despawn it and retag gordok with pet? I know in vanilla sometimes wearing certain gear with set bonuses was actually the reason they would link.
@@Minnstro a wolf is best with howl and max rank dash. You can bind furious howl, when you use it and haven't damaged mobs all the mobs will aggro to your wolf. This allows you to run through certain parts faster or if an extra pack gets pulled, like the one to the right of the top ramp where you unlock the door, you can howl to get them off you.
At 4:42 I ran through early, some of the ogres aggro'd onto me but since I howled they pulled off back to my wolf. No other pet allows you to be able to do that.
Each time I pull with pet attack on gordok the only time I get linked aggro is vs the priest. I think in era it was different and you needed to pet attack gordok to always prevent linked aggro.
get Unconscious Dig Rat from barrens for quick pet dismiss but be sure after you use ESC right away so you dont free the rat and waste the item, you can use and ESC mutipletimes the item only disapears if you fuck up and let the cast go trough
@@anagittigana I think for the priest they can link doing this from recent experience. Also seems kind of random specifically with the priest. Think it may have to do with its bubble ability.
@@wannevrino Try body pulling with pet vs the priest I heard that not body pulling is what actually links them. Other bosses it doesn't seem to matter just for the priest. Still remember to retag/howl so they don't reset when you first feign.
@@gamertyper6476 I'de focus on learning it in 2 parts. Getting there and then the boss fight itself. Once you get comfortable from experience it's like riding a bike aha you can't forget. I first started doing this in vanilla classic 2019. People were doing it on pservers long before though. When I started I took a couple hrs to get there the first time (dying various ways) then probably a couple more to get my first boss kill. I've probably died every possible way in that place. Now I only die if I'm over aggressive on the boss fight or a resist in the 2nd eye room.
@@gamertyper6476 You can also be a blacksmith to open the 2nd door or you would have to kill the first courtyard boss to get the key but this wouldn't be really efficient. You could path him along the ledge shown in my other videos though. Engineers can also use a gnomish cloaking device which is pretty much a 2nd invis pot, last 10s but has an hr cd. If I show up to clear 1 just for buffs I'll use this at 3:00 so I guarantee no resist.
The only times you really have to use frost trap are fighting the bugs and on the ramp before you use the large seaforium. Both spots you can place them normally and don't need to launch them so that nerf didn't really change anything here!

@@Nozly1 Haha np. Basically if you wait approximately 20 minutes the eyes stay friendly if you have killed Gordok after they have respawned. After you put Slipkik in the trap, logout and log back in to drop the king buff so you can kill the 2 reaver packs. Freezing trap 1 as you kite and kill the other. Overall, make eyes friendly, trap Slip'kik, kill 4 reavers. That's it, good luck!

My English isn’t very good, so I think I misunderstood that part. Basically, after killing the two eyes, I stand in front of the final boss, wait 20 minutes, then kill Gordok and the eyes will respawn as friendly?

You don't need to launch a frost trap only time I use one is for the bugs and on the ramp before the door you unlock, both can be set down. The eyes have a long aggro range I'de just shoot them, the 1st one you could lay on the ground and feign as it passes by but the 2nd one is pretty much unavoidable.
If you enter a fresh dungeon and start immediately they won't be there. There are patrols who can be there if you die and run back or don't start the run right away. If you die it can be better to reset the instance so all the patrols in this room are not out of order as it makes it more unpredictable.
@@michael_7344 You can only launch traps in the sod version. In sod you cant launch frost anymore. It doesn't matter tho you don't need to be able to launch traps to do this. Only trap you really need is to frost trap the ramp before pet pulling to unlock the door.
@@ismashgood Varies depending on what drops. Full vendoring usually 20-35g. Some items like the green bow or green mace have a 75% chance of being de'd for 1-2 greater eternals. Some other cheaper greens only have a 20% chance but they only vendor for 1-2g so I take the gamble cause if it pays off it's fat. Vendoring+DE+Mana pots I was getting roughly 40-45g a run, sometimes a little less depending on what the loot was. Usually large brilliant shards are so cheap some stuff is not worth disenchanting. But the 1g blue bracers can always be sharded.

Hey BP any idea if selling DMT loot falls under GDKP? My opinion it’s completely different but I’ve heard mixed things and I can’t find any hard evidence. Thoughts?
A few ogre packs remain aggressive, the ones right before the final boss room at the end of the hall and in the room with the 2nd eye around the corner before the ramp where you invis pot. All the bosses also remain aggressive to people entering the dungeon until they get the king buff at the end. You can trap Slip'kik by bringing a thorium widget + frost oil and using it on the trap in his room. The people entering also need to kill the eyes when they respawn every like 30mins.
@@Swopz_ You can run imp fd, it would help. I believe having spell hit also reduces resist chance. Everytime I used the Nat Pagle's Broken Reel from zg in era i'de never get a feign resist. I think no matter what there is a 1% resist chance though. The LoS thing I can't confirm or deny it's true but from personal experience it seems to help. Ex (feigning behind gordok pillar vs feigning ontop of him)
@@Bogpillz LOS does not help, only range. FD is a spell cast around you in a radius of 40 yards, ignoring LOS, and only targets inside those 40 yards can resist it. It will never resist out of range, but it may resist even when hiding behind a wall.

Is there any way at all you think this is possible without engi/bs? or is it a must have, was thinking of trying to kill the 1st boss for the key but without frost trap now i think that will be impossible
You can easily kill the first boss by following the guide I have on the hunter xp farm. You can path the boss along the long ledge and kill him easy even without frost traps! You can still manually walk over and drop frost traps on the ledge to slow the dogs. Just takes a bit cause he has like 47k health. You just wouldn't be able to get the +15% stamina buff after clearing because he provides it.
After you pull the boss and set your pet up in the corner you need to make sure your pet runs in and melee hits gordok again as gordok rushes towards you up top. If your pet does not connect with the boss again they will reset.
i always have an issue with mobs being aggro again to me even after i cast howl,also king gordok too sometime when i hit cho rush,i used to farm this a lot back in the day,literally have no idea whats going on lol
During gordok fight howl doesn't work properly. For getting there, howl should work on the other mobs. Make sure you see your pet hit the mob, wait 1s then howl. If you howl while your pet dashes in and before it connects it won't work properly.
@@erictemple6712 Even in era when I used to do this gordok sometimes would turn back randomly. In SoD I noticed sometimes when Cho'Rush turns it's because of explosive trap ticking on him or him walking through frost trap.
@@Darkgage2 It drops off the first boss in the first courtyard, the one that provides the +15% stamina buff. If you don't have engineering/blacksmithing but want to do this you would have to kill it by pathing him along the ledge then looting the key and resetting the instance if you want the 15% stam buff.
Blacksmithing also can unlock it or else you would have to kill the first courtyard ogre Mol'dar to get the key. You can path him and the dogs on the ledge like shown in my leveling vid.

You can only get through without eng/blacksmithing if you kill the 1st courtyard boss pathing him along the ledge but then you can't get the +15% stam worldbuff. If you try resetting after getting the key the item disappears from your inventory.
@@Exazord. Blacksmithing with keys can as well or you could kill the first boss in the courtyard for the key but that really would add on time to the run. Engineering is really nice for hunters (parachute cape, gnomish cloaking device, thorium ammo you can exchange for arrows) etc.

I was learning/getting familiar with the route and such, but i didn't have any specific talents, such as scatter shot, improved feign death and i was trying to do it with a level 40 cat that did not have dash that i see your wolf has. New to this and hunter in general so appreciate the info.
@@Diamog Np, you definitely want a lvl60 pet or at least high 50s. Make sure it has rank 3 dash. Wolfs are easiest since you can manually use furious howl to pull mobs off you if you haven't done any damage to them.

Vilebranch raiding wolf from the hinterlands is probably easiest to get solo.
@@AnuddaGoy Eng is amazing for hunters for the seaforiums and thorium arrows you get from trading in thorium ammo. Also for new gold farm, look into the new resil libram farm a pally just posted. Hunters can get to the boss easily, to kill it though I cleared the next room so I could kill the boss by running in a circle.

Before sod we didn’t have trap launcher and did this fine. Not any harder.
Correction: it's actually the melee that causes them to link and the way around that is to body pull actually

Are you just using your BM build for this? noticed your runes have swapped, just trying to get a feel for what the spec looks like ♥

The better geared you are the faster the boss kill will be but it's still possible with weak gear.

Could you just keep Cho'Rush or the sidekick in a frozen trap the whole fight? Seems like it would be possible?
@@androidken Nah cho'rush is immune to freezing trap. You can slow him with wing clip or frost trap though. Just can't scatter or freezing.

They are finicky, sometimes gordok will jog over traps even if they are in a good spot. I usually try to aim them for the edge of the upper level.

14 min is pretty interesting. World record is sub 5min from era. Would love to see with new runes, what's truly possible.
Yeah this wasn't a speed run, showing people new how to do a safe run. He does have 58k health in sod instead of 32k in era. 5mins is insane though!

What else needs to be cleared so that people without King buff can collect their buffs without dying?
A few ogre packs remain aggressive, the ones right before the final boss room at the end of the hall and in the room with the 2nd eye around the corner before the ramp where you invis pot. All the bosses also remain aggressive to people entering the dungeon until they get the king buff at the end. You can trap Slip'kik by bringing a thorium widget + frost oil and using it on the trap in his room. The people entering also need to kill the eyes when they respawn every like 30mins.
Am I the only one that have trouble with getting aggro from both boss and add no matter wich one I attack?
I only had issues with that vs the priest. I heard if you body pull with pet and not directly attack that is how you can fix the problem.

@@Swopz_ You can run imp fd, it would help. I believe having spell hit also reduces resist chance. Everytime I used the Nat Pagle's Broken Reel from zg in era i'de never get a feign resist. I think no matter what there is a 1% resist chance though. The LoS thing I can't confirm or deny it's true but from personal experience it seems to help. Ex (feigning behind gordok pillar vs feigning ontop of him)
Also sometimes the resists you see during King fight aren't actually gordok or cho'rush but from the gordok spirits.
@@Bogpillz actually u only need 5% hit against targets up to 62 which is easily achievable now that gear give spell hit aswell
@@Bogpillz LOS does not help, only range. FD is a spell cast around you in a radius of 40 yards, ignoring LOS, and only targets inside those 40 yards can resist it. It will never resist out of range, but it may resist even when hiding behind a wall.

Is there any way at all you think this is possible without engi/bs? or is it a must have, was thinking of trying to kill the 1st boss for the key but without frost trap now i think that will be impossible
You can easily kill the first boss by following the guide I have on the hunter xp farm. You can path the boss along the long ledge and kill him easy even without frost traps! You can still manually walk over and drop frost traps on the ledge to slow the dogs. Just takes a bit cause he has like 47k health. You just wouldn't be able to get the +15% stamina buff after clearing because he provides it.

hey do you still doing this? because on my case the boss always reset to their spot after i'm feign death not attacking my pet
After you pull the boss and set your pet up in the corner you need to make sure your pet runs in and melee hits gordok again as gordok rushes towards you up top. If your pet does not connect with the boss again they will reset.
i always have an issue with mobs being aggro again to me even after i cast howl,also king gordok too sometime when i hit cho rush,i used to farm this a lot back in the day,literally have no idea whats going on lol
During gordok fight howl doesn't work properly. For getting there, howl should work on the other mobs. Make sure you see your pet hit the mob, wait 1s then howl. If you howl while your pet dashes in and before it connects it won't work properly.
Yo same! I'm so confused this feels like a different boss fight. Getting aggro at weird times and for no reason.
@@erictemple6712 Even in era when I used to do this gordok sometimes would turn back randomly. In SoD I noticed sometimes when Cho'Rush turns it's because of explosive trap ticking on him or him walking through frost trap.

@@Darkgage2 It drops off the first boss in the first courtyard, the one that provides the +15% stamina buff. If you don't have engineering/blacksmithing but want to do this you would have to kill it by pathing him along the ledge then looting the key and resetting the instance if you want the 15% stam buff.

Blacksmithing also can unlock it or else you would have to kill the first courtyard ogre Mol'dar to get the key. You can path him and the dogs on the ledge like shown in my leveling vid.

Yeah any pet with dash will work, howl just allows you to run through more aggressive or bail you out if mobs somehow get pulled onto you!

You can only get through without eng/blacksmithing if you kill the 1st courtyard boss pathing him along the ledge but then you can't get the +15% stam worldbuff. If you try resetting after getting the key the item disappears from your inventory.

@@Exazord. Blacksmithing with keys can as well or you could kill the first boss in the courtyard for the key but that really would add on time to the run. Engineering is really nice for hunters (parachute cape, gnomish cloaking device, thorium ammo you can exchange for arrows) etc.

I was learning/getting familiar with the route and such, but i didn't have any specific talents, such as scatter shot, improved feign death and i was trying to do it with a level 40 cat that did not have dash that i see your wolf has. New to this and hunter in general so appreciate the info.
@@Diamog Np, you definitely want a lvl60 pet or at least high 50s. Make sure it has rank 3 dash. Wolfs are easiest since you can manually use furious howl to pull mobs off you if you haven't done any damage to them.

@@Diamog The worgs in lbrs come with rank 3 dash otherwise you can tame any pet with it, manually use dash until you learn it in your pet training book, then teach it to your wolf. www.wow-petopia.com/classic/abilities.php shows what pets come with what!

@@AnuddaGoy Eng is amazing for hunters for the seaforiums and thorium arrows you get from trading in thorium ammo. Also for new gold farm, look into the new resil libram farm a pally just posted. Hunters can get to the boss easily, to kill it though I cleared the next room so I could kill the boss by running in a circle.
