⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Such a good plot in story. Funny how something as simple as a note can cause such an uproar, with lots of confusion, with Esther and Laurence.
When I read description and some of the reviews, I thought hmm, almost a Cinderella story - evil stepmom (aunt), nothing in Esther's favor yet she still says positive and the outcome of HEA, even if it takes some time. But after reading this story, yes it does have the references, but that's where it ends. I've read each of the stories in the series, starting with Vera & Oscar, then Olive & Julius, then Giovanna & Silas (fav so far) and I enjoy getting to know new characters and reading updates on previous characters
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I love your books. They are imaginative and suspenseful and sometimes I have to force myself to put it down or I would read all night.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It turned out to be a very good story with all sorts of challenges thrown in the path of two young people falling in love.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I loved getting lost in this book. This is a great book and an easy read! Absolutely worth the purchase and time to read! Grab it up quickly!! As well as the rest of the series!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ester's parents parish in a carriage accident, leaving the grieving young woman in her cold, uncaring often times cruel Aunt.
Her Aunt also pressures her daughter (Ester's cousin) to act and conduct herself in the same manner as herself. Thus also treating Ester in a cool, unkind manner.
Laurence, a childhood friend and neighbor of Ester's cousin, fancies himself in love with her cousin. Now if he could just help Ester's cousin recall the sweet, fun person she use to be. He decides on a plan to win her affections through letters while not revealing his identity. But things don't always take the course we plan. By mistake, Ester is the recipient of the letters.
Ester and Laurence's story is beautifully told. So very enjoyable to read. 🌷🍃
