I know I should be more invested in the types of yarn I use for the seasons of the year, but honestly I just don't care. Personally, I'm going to use whatever yarn I feel like using even if it doesn't fit the season.
I'm not too sure about the paper yarn but can't wait to see how it works up. I vote for summer shorts as I'm thinking about having a go as well but have other projects I need to finish first lol

Thank you for the video! I have some weatherproofing spray that is for shoes and garments, wouldn't that also work for the paper yarn? That way you wouldn't have to worry about color bleeding, right? Just an idea but I have only ever used the spray on washable fabric before...

The black and slime green would look amazing in a hounds tooth stitch blanket, perfect pattern for the end of the day crochet. Simple repeat, cool pattern.
I use the friends wheel or the twister solid all the time. LOVE them! I’ve made versions of your distressed killstar sweater with them several times and it is gorgeous. Next project will be a mesh dress/sweater thing using black and red friends wheel

For a blanket that switches colors without real color work do a striped C2C! Its all zig zaggy and C2C is kinda mindless

The friends wheel is more or less exactly the same as twister solid. I mix the two all the time.
