baritones aren't tuned the same as a bass, that would be something more like a Bass VI. baritones are typically tuned down to B standard, the in-between of bass and guitar.
it generally sounds heavier, though a lot of these riffs do sound too flubby when played an octave lower since the original tracks relied heavily on the chanisaw-ish chunk of chugging in E or drop D
@@tigerslam8903 I have a baritone and it's tuned to B standard, but the one in the video is a full octave down (as stated in title), which I just don't quite get, apart from the higher strings what is the practical use of one instead of a bass?
