The plaintiff is a good guy; he basically functioned as a father for the defendant. I really hate that the young man went back home, only to drop out of school, and become the “man of the house”. Not trying to blame everything on his mom, but I think I would have worked 3 or 4 jobs before I let that happen.
This case was something I needed to see today. The coach is so caring toward Trevion, and visa versa. They have a beautiful relationship. Loved the judges advice to Trevion about how employers see a person with a degree as having completed something or followed through with a commitment. Hopefully other young people out there heard the judges advice on education. This is the type of video that should be shown in high schools. It might motivate potential dropouts to stay in school.
I’m wondering how the judge feel about those who have there diplomacy want in the Air Force and now fall on hardship and homeless living on the streets.
Coach, you’re a good man, and I love how at the end the kid showed gratitude and interest in putting things behind them and get back to how things were before. This is something that gives me some hope for society.
I hate when mother's put their kids in adult position to take care of her kids, when they are kids themselves.. that's his siblings not his kids... she should have got food stamps, section 8 and tanaf.. before she made her SON act as the man of her house, SHE SHOULD HAVE NEVER ACCEPTED HIM NOT GOING TO SCHOOL.. THAT REALLY PISSES ME OFF 🤬..
Someone should have explained to Judge Mathis that those 4 major wrestling events were comparable to watching the NBA Finals or NFL playoffs than going to see a regular season game.

JM is coming from another perspective He's talking about the average person especially people that are in disadvantage neighborhoods, etc. Education is a way out. He didn't say you can't be successful without going to college. He said going to college increases the likelihood of success. He's talking to a different demographic which is why it went over your head. 🤔
I'm just glad that my mother showed me the best love she could for me by spoiling me with anything that I wanted being I'm the only child. Videogames, toys, vehicles, homes etc. Didn't force me to work so i had fun. Best thing to do is not to force anything on your children.
