This is early Liliac. Melody was on bass in the beginning and Ethan on rhythm. They perform cause they busked on the pier for many years, checkout Cra,y Train, they look like they were the same ages from when they were on the World's Best. Ethan nailed the twin solo of The Trooper live at age 12. Justin was 10 nailing live the keys to Rainbow in the Dark. Melody actually is phenomenal on the bass with great instincts. She has been the one writing the bass parts. The 3rd album Papa Liliac has said it will be Ethan. He is turning 15 this month and Melody is 19. They just grow and grow. Now they have a house to play in, I feel you'll see leaps and bounds. Check out Chain of Thorns video, first EP they did of originals, and listen to her on bass. Especially during Sam's solo. Only one reactor has caught this, eventhough he did not know what she did, We Fangs are croud funding them and are their lable. They are free to just immerse themselves in their creative environment. I think, since Florin(Papa) couldn't listen or play secular music in his youth, he and the kids have been on a musical journey together since he has had his own studio in the very beginning. You really need to check out the dates of these videos. This was done at least 3 years ago. Melody is a great bass player. Aged at just 16 at the time. The move to switch Ethan to the bass was to free her for her lead Vocialist Performance. This song is special to me because it was my introduction to Liliac 3 years ago.
This is far and away the best tribute cover out there by a huge factor , This was also their breakout performance with over 9 million views .you are correct to point out that this is a cover ,and Liliac is not trying to be Mettalica or is Melody trying to be Hatfield .they are simply giving a great performance . You obviously like Iron Maiden hence the t shirt , you should react to The Trooper which is another earlier cover , it will surprise you that's all I'm saying just check it out . Fang4life RORH

Little Ethan does the first half of the dueling solo on the Trooper, and is a MUST see! Abi beats them drums again, like they just stole Grandma's wedding ring.
If you were a NY Yankees fan during the Mariano Rivera era, you got pumped every time you heard the first few notes to ENTER SANDMAN. This was his theme song when he entered the game. And Metallica played this song live at Yankees Stadium in Sept 2013 to honor Mariano! And LILIAC does a great cover here.
It's a older cover. From what I remember she used to play bass. Then a couple of songs she sings only and doesn't play bass anymore. Depending on the songs I'm guessing. Great reaction man. 👍
You are rapidly becoming my favorite reactor. You "get it", it doesn't have to be a carbon copy of the original to be a great cover. Check out their video they released of their original "Dear Father". You mentioned in an earlier reaction you'd like to hear more of Melody's vocal range, it will give a fair idea of what she is capable of, I think you'll be surprised and pleased.
Melody was actually a pretty good Bass player, she gave that up to Ethan, he's become pretty good at Bass as well, and the Keyboardist and youngest Justin is learning guitar as we speak, I personally hope it's Rhythm guitar so that they can have Lead, Bass, and Rhythm once again. I don't know 100% which guitar Justin is picking up though....
I knew you would like this one. Staying true to the original, and adding a little flare instrument wise, plus Melo's voice, makes it different enough for me. I actually like it better then the original, as it is a fresh version, after hearing the Black songs a million times over the decades. lol Note for note, is boring. I might as well listen to the original. ;)

Yes,metallica is my all time favorite band ever. You could do some motion device ,Canadian band. I suggest first do they covers and then originals.
