Thank you so much, Mr. King! The first thing I felt was, "Damn, they are CLOSE!" Then I heard you whooping, hollering, and cackling--showing that clearly you were enjoying yourself. I am afraid I might have passed out during one of those 90 degree high g turns. Whatever qualified you to get this ride, I take my hat off to you. Thanks again for posting!
Wow, watching them fly still gets my heart pumping even after all these years. I went to see them every summer at the Alameda Fairgrounds, in California. My dad was Navy, and he was one of the guys that kept the Blue Angel planes in tip top shape. Thank you so much for this video. It was the Blue Angels who inspired me and gave me my love of flight. My 19 year old grandson is going Navy, and is signing on as a Nuclear Engineer, with his sights set on N.A.S.A. My 22 year old grandson is a Sargent in the Marines, and he is a Nuclear Specialist who just deployed July 6, 2017. Thank you so much for sharing this experience with us.
Never seen a BA video like this one. Why on earth don't more documentaries put together pieces like this? Instead, they're full of annoying cuts and music. This was INCREDIBLE, thank you for posting.
What a treat to watch this video. J.C I am assuming that your are flying #4 of which I have a model. Your aircraft are beautiful and your comments during the video assures me that you are having absolutely too much fun. Good job pilot. America loves the Blue Angles. Pete
I tell you what, that is really impressive. I volunteered a the air show this weekend and the entire thing was amazing. This kind of stuff takes nerves of steel.
The pilot's enthusiasm is great!! He is like a kid in a candy store!! :) 0:10 YEE-HA!! 0:19 Woo Hoo Hoo!! 1:03 YEE-HOO!!! 2:47 HaaHaHaHaHaaa 5:04 HAHA 8:34 AHHH 9:18 YEE-HAAAA!
Bob K Without trying to be disrespectful to any branch of the military, you are right in their flying and fighting ability. The AF lands on a mile or better runway and uses same for takeoff. Navy & Marine land on carriers and launch from same. This has nothing to do flying ability but do you remember when all four jets in the T-Bird Diamond crashed in formation during practice? It was the saddest day for the entire military. It was caught on tape and I didn't have the heart to watch it. Still haven't to this day. I hope you understand the first part. No disrespect intended.
Guessing the only guy that could be in that cockpit during a show would have to be another active Navy pilot in BA training? Yeeeeehaaaw! lol. Kick ass video bud. I'd be laughing all the way through that fun too.
They take people from the media, celebrities or "VIP" civilians in the two seat jet (I believe it's jet number 7). I don't know if they take civilians during the show, but they obviously take them during their practice shows at least.
..and I have to add, they are so awesome to go see, I love going to the airshows, Miramar base is where I went to see them every year for like 10 years...the Angels are the best!
What a fantastic film - the skilled flying, the noise, the proximity of the other aircraft and the views ! This video has cheered me up and I'm ready for another day.
I wish there were more videos like this! Love the cockpit view. If you are into vintage Blue Angels, you should check out the movie "Threshold". It has a ton of cockpit footage and radio communication from the days of the F4 Phantoms.
Crazy. When I was a kid all I could think was how glorious and magnificent the Blue Angels are; now I also appreciate the courage, the training and the skill. Just amazing.
Wings of Freedom America of Liberty. These birds fly high a country so majesty. I love these Angels they rule the skies God Bless America Freedom they fly!
At their home in Pensacola, FL, the team begins practicing the maneuvers with normal fleet separation of 40-50 ft. then gradually closes the gap each time they practice, until the separation is a show-ready 36".
I had seen the Blue Angels perform in Fargo North Dakota 2011 and it was the best show I have ever seen. I had taken my father to see the show who was in the Navy for 21 years. My father even stated that he has never seen flying like this before and he has been in World War 1 and World War 2.
Best Blue Angel video I have ever seen. I like watching them from the ground, but Ill take this any day. Awesome footage. That has to truly be a once in a lifetime opportunity to go into the skies with these pilots.
I thought they were already flying up in the clouds at 0:06 for a sec!!!! This video is great!!!! (So many good old videos I did not even noticed until many years later!!!!)
I use to live on Old Gulf Beach Rd. in Pensacola, next to Pensacola NAS. And had the privilege of watching, and hearing them rehearse every Tuesday morning. They would even buzz the house just above tree level. :-D "LOVED IT!!" ** Raspek Blue Angels, and 1
This is insane footage. I can't belive how close they get and how bumpy it is up there. You can see the planes moving closer and further every second....BEST PILOTS BY FAR!
Thanks for posting this awesome video clip. I have watch all the documentaries on them and this one without the music, narration and editting is by far the best to me.
OMG, this is by far the most impressive in-cockpit video footage I have ever seen of someone like you riding along with the Blues! Kudos you lucky man!
I can not get enough of these amazingly selfless, talented pilots!, they haven't shown in Pittsburgh Pa. for sixteen years now but, when I first saw them perform, the enormous amount of pride and sheer awe in them brought me to tears, all of you commenting can bicker all day as to who the best flight demo team might be but, if there were ever a real threat on our great nation, these are the guys that would be sent to ensure that the threat would no longer be a problem, fyi everyone did you know that given the extreme close proximity that the blues fly( 18 inch separation from wing tip to canopy of next closest jet) they do not wear a "G suit" to combat the G- forces, but tighten their lower extremities(hooking) to keep the blood up in their heads while taking on G- forces ( the water bladder in a G- suit could interfere with manipulation of the stick in the cockpit) there is no margin for error with these guys!, and although the Thunderbirds are exceptional pilots in their own right, I gotta give more credit to a pilot that must land a jet on a matchbook that's pitching and rolling in the middle of the ocean in the middle of the night!, so, waste time arguing who's "best", these pilots are America's greatest show of might, resolve and ability!, I already know who is truly the "best" flight demo team in the world! may the good Lord bless, protect and guide all of America's courageous warriors! and thank God that the United States has such exceptional pilots art her disposal(Thunderbirds and Blues) written with a great deal of respect, admiration, gratitude and sheer awe in ALL of these incredible American's that are willing to don a uniform and protect all that we hold dear! fore without them we would be nothing!
I love them! Saw the Blue Angels over Edgewater Park today in Cleveland. They blow my mind. I can't describe how they make me feel, but it's amazing, very proud for sure. XOXO
WOW..... first of thanks fr sharing this amazing video. We're loving it. If somebody knows their birds, it is these guys. Skills, precision and the touch for flying. Thanks for not adding music to it, this is the best.
Took my grandkids to see them at Scott AFB a couple years ago, but this sure puts a twist on what we experienced on the ground- thanx for sharing, they are amazing pilots!
The word "skill" is not good enough. Seeing things like this never ceases to amaze me. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, thinking the slightest miscalculation turn everything into a nightmare, but you guys were having fun with it! Man, such a wild experience!
I just saw the Blue Angels for the first time ever this past Saturday..I was blown away! This video is so exciting because now I can see what it is like from their perspective! Thank you for this phenomenal video!!!
Jet blast aka the sound of freedom.Awesome video. Thanks for sharing.Talk about a Kodak moment.Hats off and thumbs up to all that serve our great country.
I always thought that as a Marine Infantry officer, I had the coolest job in the world. After watching this, you guys are giving me a run for the money. Awesome video! BTW I love Navy and Marine fighter pilots. You guys have saved me and my men's asses a few times. Thanks for what you do.
Truly great to watch. Saw them "live" at Dobbins AFB when they were still flying the Skyhawk in the late 1970's. Their support aircraft (C130) also puts on an impressive display.
Just got through watching our British brothers in their big Red Arrow video, also very impressive. I am a fanboy of anything "aircraft" and I recognize the skill, but there is something about this video that thrills me. The overwhelming skill and control, the stable maneuvers and the sheer power of the F18. . . . . . . WOW!
This video is freaking awesome! That immediate slide over to the slot position right after gears-up gives me chills. The video with the music is cool, but it's nice to get a feel for the "raw" experience with the audio effects. What a wild ride!
It's not easy to live up to the statement: "One of the best on TH-cam"
But this really does.
Jamie Smith Snowbirds are VERY good too! But the BA’s are definitely better,
Nothing would be more rewarding in life then to sit where you are for a show thanks for the awesome video
That's cool but what about doing a spacewalk?
Nothing better than the Blue Angels. Nothing!
+pegster6 maybe the red arrows its not all about the Americans
+ASGameing 2006 For Americans it is!
pegster6 snowbirds, Canada
pegster6 red arrows
pegster6 USAF Thunderbirds
UNBELIEVABLE!!!! The finest footage of an airshow performance. No music, just RAW, UNHINGED POWER!!!
if u have ever seen the blues or the red arrows it doesnt matter whos better its truly amazing how these men can do this
Your Commentary makes my heart smile
So glad we have pilots like this on our side.
Russian pilots are crazy too
This might be the most intense and legitimate videos on TH-cam. Well done!
Thanks again for posting!
the skill, concentration, and accuracy is beyond crazy
You just got to love waking up knowing you are going to fly - good job :)
Yes please ... got to be one of the best wake up reasons eva. blue skies, blue angel.
10 4 Amen
Wow, watching them fly still gets my heart pumping even after all these years. I went to see them every summer at the Alameda Fairgrounds, in California. Wow such great aspirations and goals for each of them I wonder if they were achieved
Love it! Thank you thank you thank you for including the original sound and not dropping some horrible metal / cheese rock soundtrack on top of it!
Never seen a BA video like this one. Why on earth don't more documentaries put together pieces like this? Instead, they're full of annoying cuts and music. This was INCREDIBLE, thank you for posting.
This is really amazing! When you say "One of the best on TH-cam" you mean it.
I'm SOOOOO jealous!!!! Looks like the ride of a lifetime!!!
What a treat to watch this video. J.C I am assuming that your are flying #4 of which I have a model. Your aircraft are beautiful and your comments during the video assures me that you are having absolutely too much fun. Good job pilot. America loves the Blue Angles. Pete
I work for Flight Safety Academy and I must say It was an honor to have these guys perform and watch their awesome stunts right from the runway.
Just saw these guys in Vero beach. Thanks for a great show!
amazing , such high level of flying , the way they do those maneuvers in such a tight and uniform formation is just mind blowing.
love how stoked the filmer is
Daniel Simon and how he's not passed out from the G Force
I tell you what, that is really impressive. I volunteered a the air show this weekend and the entire thing was amazing. This kind of stuff takes nerves of steel.
The pilot's enthusiasm is great!! He is like a kid in a candy store!! :)
0:10 YEE-HA!!
0:19 Woo Hoo Hoo!!
1:03 YEE-HOO!!!
2:47 HaaHaHaHaHaaa
5:04 HAHA
8:34 AHHH
9:18 YEE-HAAAA!
I’m not sure if the one at 8:34 is about the enthusiasm or just pain from the tight turn where he was probably pulling a few G’s haha.
Vader2Vader thank u for this comment
Hell yeah! Knowing you're one of the 6 best pilots in the world and NOT enjoying it would be a crime!
Exactly. I want to see what he is like high on weed
It’s the guy in the back seat, two seater.
This is the most perfect song befitting these extremely talented young men who serve our Country proudly!
They make it LOOK so easy. The Blue Angels are the best. So you are in #4?
rickd248 thats #7 cuse its 7 is a two seater
rickd248 T-Birds are equal. just a different branch & different aircraft.
Packer fan93 ...you are correct. It's #7... Looks like they're in the #4 slot
Charles Bass But I thought there were only 6?
The best ten minute video I think I've ever seen on TH-cam.
Guessing the only guy that could be in that cockpit during a show would have to be another active Navy pilot in BA training?
Yeeeeehaaaw! lol. Kick ass video bud. I'd be laughing all the way through that fun too.

This is the BEST! Love seeing my hometown from this angle.
you guys have some serious balls this legit crazy
One of the most awesome videos ever posted anywhere. Completely raw. Cannot thank you enough. This will get a million views. Epic.
What I wouldn't give to fly with the Blue Angels
..and I have to add, they are so awesome to go see, I love going to the airshows, Miramar base is where I went to see them every year for like 10 years...the Angels are the best!
To say I'm jealous is an understatement.
What a fantastic film - the skilled flying, the noise, the proximity of the other aircraft and the views ! This video has cheered me up and I'm ready for another day.
Coolest part of the vids was hearing that pilot cackling like a madman.Merica. BTW, how the fk do u dislike this?
That's the camera man doing that.
TH-cam......the greatest thing since........water. The best Blue Angel video I've ever seen.
Holy fucking shit... just how?! xD
This is why I'm a big supporter of our military. Thanks for all you do!!
From the looks of where you guys are flying, I'd say that's the naval academy show. Just across the bay from me too :)
You know your service academies...that is the Naval Academy on the Severn River
Well mainly because I live/lived like 10 min. away x]
I wish there were more videos like this! Love the cockpit view. If you are into vintage Blue Angels, you should check out the movie "Threshold". It has a ton of cockpit footage and radio communication from the days of the F4 Phantoms.
YEEEHAAA = So american.
Bigtime..
Cyka Blyat = So Russian
Thats right!!!!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I am so glad there is no music over the video! Great to hear the actual sound of the wind, jet turbines, air brakes, and throttle cut back.
I hate my dayjob...
Yep! one of the best cockpit videos of the Blues I've seen so far! Nicely Done!
Troll on this channel and I will delete and block. Thanks for your support
Crazy. When I was a kid all I could think was how glorious and magnificent the Blue Angels are; now I also appreciate the courage, the training and the skill. Just amazing.
Wings of Freedom
America of Liberty.
These birds fly high

This never gets old to me .. I love it
How do they practice this? Lmao.

How? They must have been be practiced carefully.
Klovskog Well, of course.
TOP NOTCH!!! TRULY AMAZING, BLUE ANGELS. THE REAL TAIL GATERS OF THE AIR!
I had seen the Blue Angels perform in Fargo North Dakota 2011 and it was the best show I have ever seen. I had taken my father to see the show who was in the Navy for 21 years. My father even stated that he has never seen flying like this before and he has been in World War 1 and World War 2.

Now those are some flyboys! HUGE grin. Thanks for posting this.
I live in Pensacola and I really miss the 3 or 4 practice shows a week. The Blues practicing has always been a staple here and it has been missed.
I thought they were already flying up in the clouds at 0:06 for a sec!!!! This video is great!!!! (So many good old videos I did not even noticed until many years later!!!!)
This is the best in cockpit video that I have ever seen.
Thank you for all involved

Wow, this was absolutely AMAZING! About as close to a cockpit inside a Blue Angel as I'll ever get, and want to get, just wow.
The precision and concentration is insanity incognito.
Wow..
The fact that they can speed up and slow down so quickly is unreal. They make this look soooo easy....
This is insane footage. I can't belive how close they get and how bumpy it is up there. You can see the planes moving closer and further every second....BEST PILOTS BY FAR!
just saw them today perform at the naval academy, its nice top see them again after there 3 year absence. and as always they put on a great show.
Love that much of this is shot over Annapolis and the Academy!
Thanks for posting this awesome video clip. I have watch all the documentaries on them and this one without the music, narration and editting is by far the best to me.

@4:07 The Line Abreast Loop!!! Still blows my mind as the best of the best!
10 minutes of exact precision and awesomeness... these guys are amazing... *salute towards their direction*
I'm in complete and utter AWE💓🙂 Ahhhh the percision, skill, and sheer intensity is beyond words. This raw, unfilled footage is PRICELESS💓💞💓💞
Gotta love seeing Annapolis down below! Their best show of the year is always over the Academy!!! Go NAVY!
Aeros with "The Blues"... Magic!
Arguably the best pilots in the world. Nobody flies tighter formation than the Angels. And without G suits even. Could you be more badass?!
I love them! Saw the Blue Angels over Edgewater Park today in Cleveland. They blow my mind. I can't describe how they make me feel, but it's amazing, very proud for sure. XOXO

Wow! In the loop with the gwar and flaps out, I swear I felt the negative Gs coming through the top of the loop. Awesome video.
This is the best video on You tube.
God Bless The United States of America.
Took my grandkids to see them at Scott AFB a couple years ago, but this sure puts a twist on what we experienced on the ground- thanx for sharing, they are amazing pilots!
Incredible! Incredible! Incredible! I don't know what else to say! Breathtaking skill in a truly amazing aircraft! I'm blown away!
I love the blue angles, seen them 10 times, thats the coolest video, thanks
Great footage. Sure makes me miss my job in the Navy. I was OS1 ( SW ) ( AIC ) Those 20 years went by so fast.
Thanks Jim, glad you upped this raw version. Makes me feel I'm in that pit. Excellent!
The word "skill" is not good enough. Seeing things like this never ceases to amaze me. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, thinking the slightest miscalculation turn everything into a nightmare, but you guys were having fun with it! Man, such a wild experience!
+supercellonova could*
What's up Annapolis!!! Legend has it one of the blue jets flew under the Severn river bridge during one of the Academy demos. Great vid
I just saw the Blue Angels for the first time ever this past Saturday..I was blown away! This video is so exciting because now I can see what it is like from their perspective! Thank you for this phenomenal video!!!
I'm just glad to hear you make all the sounds a human should make in these circumstances.

Truly great to watch. Saw them "live" at Dobbins AFB when they were still flying the Skyhawk in the late 1970's. Their support aircraft (C130) also puts on an impressive display.

Nothing beat the blue angels. ..they rock my world
Just got through watching our British brothers in their big Red Arrow video, also very impressive. I am a fanboy of anything "aircraft" and I recognize the skill, but there is something about this video that thrills me. Without a doubt, the blue angels are the greatest pilots on the planet. My heads up to you guys. I had the dream to be one, glasses changed that.
