CLARIFICATION: It was shown in this video that 2-seaters have the option to fire if advantaged. THIS IS NOT THE CASE. Two-seaters will only (optionally) fire if head-on. Otherwise, if they have the advantage, they will attempt to break off.
Now that the good Lt. has a wingman, it would be wonderful to see that element in action on an upcoming mission as the rules for that can be a bit confusing. Hopefully he’ll also draw a Balloon Busting mission to encounter some of the dreaded AA fire as well, then ultimately survive long enough to pick up his 6th Sense skill. Bonne Chance Lt. Albert!
Very much enjoy this game. Found it can be brutal especially early game. Once you get some skills the chances of survival greatly increase. Started using optional rules like random pilot level for enemies. Makes late game a bit more interesting.
Hi Poindexter. Your videos have been a great help though I'm still struggling with some of the rules. The emergency dive rule is a bit unclear (to me). I'm hoping that one of your videos will clearify it. Thanks so much. Best.
Incredible successful come back of Lieutenant Daladier, now is the turning point of his carreer, maybe he will face the deadly Fokker DR1 in the next chapter ? Or other members of the Flying Circus of Manfred Von Richtofen ? Good work on these missions P.S : can you tell me the name of all the background musics used ? I ever heard these musics but impossible to remember the name, thx
@@knowshistory8740 In this game, you gain a prestige point along with the ability to use a wingman. When you get promoted, you also get the use of a wingman. I just got promoted before I became an ace. 😊
A question if I may: shouldn't we perform position changes after the shots are rolled? Against the 2 seater around min. 5:30 the enemy gained a position before your hits were rolled. In case of tailing position this would make a difference. Am I missing something? Gosh, I wish the rulebooks of this whole series were better edited: it's such a shame, isn't it?
Just a quick question: at the beginning of the session, it looked like you had three prestige, but used one to gain use of the new aircraft, dropping the total to two. After landing, however, you gained a prestige for becoming an ace, but increased that stat from three to four, not two to three. Do you actually lose a prestige point to gain use of the new aircraft, or do you just need to be at a particular prestige level?
@richarddefortuna2252 Sorry for that confusion. I was at prestige level 3 before I "bought" the Spad 13, so the LEVEL is correct and that level never drops or changes. There are also spendable prestige points, as shown in the clip. To upgrade your aircraft, you spend a prestige point. That doesn't affect your overall LEVEL which never changes. The "spendable" prestige points are used similar to experience points (they can increase and decrease). Hope that explains it better. :)

This series is AWESOME! Please carry on, sir!
Well made series.

Another outstanding video....
Thank you!

Shouldn't your pilot get something for becomming an ace? Some advantage?
