I came back to this song today as I've realsied I too have an endless roll. It's not the drawstring that's defective though, but when you open the bag, one whole side splits right open from top to bottom. I thought it might be just one or two, BUT NO IT'S ALL 200!!!!

The drawstrings just don't work at all... We've had other drawstring bags before so I know how they are supposed to work... These bags function as though the designer thought drawstrings on trash bags were merely decorative and not actually expected to shrink and eventually close the opening of a bag of trash... When I have to take out the trash, I now find myself tying a knot at the top of the bag and ignoring the drawstring feature altogether to save myself the irritation of trying... And boy, have I tried... I remain incredulous that the strings are there and supposed to work, and so I have tried so many times, thinking the last time it failed so spectacularly it must have been a mistake... a dud...

Kirkland is normally a great band, it's so disappointing to hear Neil had a bad experience with any of their products, let alone a refuse container. They put a lot of effort into their products.
I'd say four boxes of Glad Bags and a $15 trash can from Walmart should do the trick. That'd be my rating.
