Tom Cruise running around the dinner table like a mischievous little goblin made me laugh for a full minute and a half, my compliments to the chef
I love that he talked about how the neighbours were people of high stature before getting off the chair to show he wasn't much higher than the table.

Being ancient enough to have known the original series’ and despite a very shaky start to the first new series (ie tame and generally pretty crappy first episode) this is just as nasty as the original ! Love it. Well done and keep ´em coming at us.
Although stopping short of the queen doing anything nasty to Rushford, but still putting a bullet in a dudes head. Was the only tip toe part of the episode for me personally, anything else was good old fun.

@@eliotreader8220 Well hardly surprising, I mean when i was young and I saw the tail end of of Spitting Image the Conservatives were the ones in office, it stopped when Blaire took office. Although i really can't say if that is just coincidence and poking fun at those in power just makes sense, or the show runners are die hard Labourites.

It was purely coincidental, the show took many potshots at Tony Blair when he was running. It simply got cancelled due to low viewership.

I don't know about the creators of this show, but I think they're pretty close to comedy genius. These episodes never fail to crack me up. There are a few characters that I don't recognize, especially a few of the Brit's, love Boris' hair. These episodes must cost a heck of a lot of Pounds to produce. Keep it up folks.

They're not American though...
They tried (and failed) to create an American version of the show in 1986 on NBC. It sucked - lame politics, no religion. I could only stomach about the first 10 minutes or so before I turned it off. It was NOTHING like the British show.

This episode was a huge improvement! Most of the time I found the jokes to be hilarious. It dragged at the end but I still loved the spisode.
