Getting the Lead Out - The Simple Way to Test Your Water Line

If your house was built before 1988, there is a chance your pipes could contain lead. The City of Baytown is working on the service line inventory and needs your help. A service line is a pipe that moves water from the city into your home. Federal regulations have recently changed and the City is committed to getting the lead out.
You can help through a simple self-survey that will make the process quicker and easier. This video explains how to survey your lines, how to submit a report, and the next steps to follow.
