I've been stuck in mud, but not to the extent of some of those tractors, that were pictured. A friend and I were once hailed down, by a stressed out farmer, as we were driving past a field, were one of his cows was stuck bad, shoulder deep, in bad mud! What a sad, sad sight to behold indeed! The Farmer was very emotional and on the cusp of tears. I really can't remember how it all turned out, if we got the cow unstuck or not. Making matters worse, it was dark and nightfall. I haven't thought about that incident in decades. I am 60 now, damn it, and I must have been 19 or 20 at the time. Somewhere in Utah. I live somewhere in NH.
We were separating out some cow-calf pairs, and one of my cousins used droppings to mark one pair... unfortunately, he missed and hit one of my other cousins.. you should have seen THAT fight! lol

Yeah!! Got my Timberjack skidder stuck bustin' through the ceiling of a natural spring. It had 4wd bloat tires with chains and spikes. I was tractor stuck. That 20,000 pound winch saved me. Great song!
I have been there with my 300 Case skidder last spring, I only had chains on the front at the time. Same situation, drove over a spring and all of a sudden stuck to the belly pan. Got it out under its own power but barely. I had to put a snatchblock on the tree I winched myself out to.

Now, this is one that I think ALL farmers can really "relate to"!! It brought back so many memories (not all were so "fond"!) but the playing in the mud hole was fun to watch! Keep on farming, and making these great video parodies!!

Well, this year has been a good one for getting tractors stuck but good gracious! (I know all those are not your tractors, thankfully) How do you run a tractor into a ditch in a big field? Are people drinking and tractoring?? Are they falling asleep in those "beautiful Kansas plains"? The two times we've ever stuck a tractor were both by my boyfriend making bad judgement calls: driving through a swamp with 1,000 lbs on the loader and driving parallel on a new water line (thankfully said line did NOT break). Maybe we need more women driving tractors ;) PS- I can't believe those quad tracks were stuck, I thought those things were unbeatable!
