Absolutely incredible! I love how hopeful it is. Perfect song to ring in the new year. I really like how the Mother almost sounds like an electric guitar; nice touch!

Any big exciting plans for New Year's Eve? I think the hype is always followed by letdown, but I do enjoy enjoy spending it low key with friends and loved ones.

@mixmcinfrarave Do you incorporate your Werkstatt in the soundscape with the two Mothers and the Subharmonicon? Do you play it or sequence it? I have one as well, I just haven't found a proper way to integrate it into the setup yet. The only way I have so far is either to use the additional LFO for modulation, or I will use its pulse wave to add character/thickness to the Mother through the ext. in and patch the KB to follow.

I use it with a VALPOWER USB CV GATE.
Google search is close to €50 and it's impeccable for syncing the Moog werkstatt with the daw.
another end result will be connecting with Moog DFAM.
although it uses the DAFM together with the Moog Subharmonicon, this is the icing on the cake. The two Moog Mother 32s both receive signals from the Roland TR 909.
the Moog DFAM is controlled by my KENTON Pro 4 (this control is also used for the 3 Roland TB 303 - one by sync 24 and two by CV GATE converter to MIDI and FILTER SLIDE ACCENT auxiliaries.
the Roland SH 101 is the same as FILTER and MOD.
the DRUMATIX Roland TR 606 with the KADI com2 port adaptation for the KENTON already with independent output kit.) but I use another KENTON Pro 2 for the original Korg MS 10, CV GATE TRIG and auxiliary to submit filter VCL into KORG.
the CLOCK PULSE leaves the KENTON for the Moog DFAM into ADV CLOCK, CV GATE TRIG, the DAFM is thus independently controlled in the daw.
so the Moog Subharmonicon is controlled together... because the Subharmonicon's midi adapter is weak and has few functions like those of the Moog Mother 32. I apply the same circumstances cyclically between other equipment... everything is always spinning to create an unparalleled setup and different.
I hope you understand what you required.

@@mixmcinfrarave Oh ok cool, thank you! So you have the Kenton Pro 4 to sync the DFAM with Roland 303? Is it also controlling the DFAM in that scenario?
I get the gist, thank you. Has anyone ever used the DFAM Thing? I have a Sonoclast MAFD, but I never use it.

👍 I'm been enjoying your videos. I just bought the moog subharmonicon.i bought the Moog mother 32 first from summer. I'll still got to get the Dfam are you planning getting the Moog Mavis? If so would be interesting hearing you play with the Moogs tier system with it.

I'm a noob when it comes to equipment like this. I'm more of a MIDI/Fl Producer synth patch kind of guy. What is the learning curve for using hardware like this? Is the composition in this video randomly generated? How do you keep those patchcords straight, and what are they for? LIke I said, I'm a noob at this, hence the litany of questions. :>

Hi Friend, I glad to see your comments. That’s a nice and big question! About the analog semi-modular synthesizer, last 3 years for me have same questions either. I compose music on DAW for many years from Protools, Logic Pro X and sound design from Nuendo. Yes! Making music on computer is very convenient, we can choose presets by any nice VST and adjust timbre, character very fast. But when I came into Ambient, Classicaltronics, modern classical music. What makes me curious is how those unique sounds are created? So I bought the Moog Grandmother then Moog Sound Studio 3.
      - You can create your own particular sound every time
      - Every machine has its own rule, mode and style, choose what you like
      - I always digging every manual and reference patch, learning waveform, envelope, modulation theory. Base on these so you can play freely, every analog synthesizer is special
      - If I only have one synthesizer and how can I just use it to make a complete arrangement, rich timbre variations music. So If I get 3 synthesizers that will be helpful
      - There are a lot of brilliant tutorials on TH-cam, Loopop music is great!
      - Have Fun
