Also, can write off your entire investment if the lender can't able to repay the amount (As per RBI rules) Example Yes Bank bonds.

Maam you have missed the biggest backdrop of bonds :- the inflation. Eat will eat up all the principal amount till a bond matures. Situations are worse in long term bonds when there is an high inflation rate.

Maam you have missed the biggest backdrop of bonds :- the inflation.
Eat will eat up all the principal amount till a bond matures.
Situations are worse in long term bonds when there is an high inflation rate.

What is the difference between a bond and a debenture?
The bond's value can also change according to the current market price, how?
What is YTM.? It’s net yeild which u will get it by annually and not a coupon percentage. Since price per unit is trading at premium in secondary market. Hope this might be helpful for someone.

2. Any specific Eligibility to buy these bond?
3. Necessary Documents to buy.
