I think it's more powerful without jumpscares. Jumpscares have been used so often in horror games that they're kinna boring now. Atmosphere gets me better than a cheap jumpscare trick. It's all in the subtlty.
It's also amazing how this game is in really early access, I'm definitely going to be following this game and it's updates. As long as they don't add jumpscares because it's such a cheap trick in horror games that make me hate them but this one I love because of the spooky atmosphere.
