I was going to say the same thing! I couldn't help help having a big dumb grin while watching this. Love the music and the performance - great to see something fresh on the scene.
I'm a 78 year old great-grandfather who has been in the international music business since 1972 and totally in love with the band. When I see the videos of the live performances, I'm a teen again and jumping along. Unfortunately I didn't get a ticket for the concert of Harry Styles (Special guest Wet Leg) in my hometown Vienna on August 7th, 2023.
@@jimdonaldson9914 In 95, when they stood in for the Stone Roses? I remember that one. I went to Glasto every year from 1981 until my last in 97, when my EDM gods Underworld headlined the 2nd stage. I think Pulp played in 2011 as well.
Lord have mercy, this is like Prince in Purple Rain. Same vibe, same feeling. When are we going to see Wet Leg in a full feature modern moving picture at the cinema again and again? WET LEG MAJOR MOTION PICTURE, WET LEG MAJOR MOTION PICTURE, WET LEG MAGIC MOTION PICTURE! LIKE PURPLE RAIN!!!!!!
So humble. Luv u guys..useing u guys as an example of confidence building for non white kids who i mentor.. Trying nit to make it sound racial but hopefully u know what i mean...just deep respect...i mighta messed that up..my bad...but ur message is sooo good...woo

This is quirky, anarchic and midly sinister all at the same time! Great to see a band like this emerge in the age of computer written garbage and one note angst whining.
The Big D seemed so important back then. I got a credential before it was important. And now means absolutely nothing, It's weird we're all in debt for that.
Am I wrong, or is this a youth protest song basically stating "F-you, we're gonna masturbate all day long". Which I fully approve of as a message from this generation to us elders. We haven't left you a pretty picture, and I can appreciate that sentiment.
Because they're likeable, and above all, fun! And communicate that! And that beats so many whingey guys with guitars, and so much indulgent computer crap!
I very rarely get embarrassed for people onstage, but these two look so awkward, very out if place and don't belong there. The "song" is also horrendous to the point I just couldn't watch.
@@speculative the Audio isnt going to make a difference. Seems more like an "attempt" at "Girl power" 🤢🤮 Only with a total lack of confidence and tallent... thats nothing to applaud here other than virtue signalling... its shite dude, just be honest with yourself, lol
so cute...i love when Hester's guitar kicks in...but come on..i pay to hear the musicians. im sure the band loves that you know the words...but its super fucking annoying.
sad that after the eventual burnout of rap...and the multitude of talentless participants in that useless endeavor, the high school garage band would be the long road back to musical talent. From the name to their lyrics, when they finally break up hopefully they learn to play the instruments and go on to better venues.
I love how they look like they're having the best time at every show. Thanks for uploading!
It brings tears to my eyes every time I see it
I reckon it’s the thought of all the cash
Most women are not that fun and happy.
Just big ole goofy grin on my face all the way through... just so happy for them!
THANKS for this upload.

This band really is a breath of fresh air. Love it!
My brother and I were there. Thought we might be the oldest people, but we were NOT! This band is for everyone!
As an old rocker I love this - this is one band my daughter and I can agree about.
Exactly John! Their appeal is universal.
As one old rocker to another, I totally agree! Wet Leg are so likeable and fun! And you can't knock that!
Are you both in kindergarten?
My face always hurts from smiling after watching anything this lot do! Love um x
This is what music is about for me. Its refreshing to see people having as much fun playing music as the people in the audience are having listening.
Hester’s guitar hooks are so addictive - they sound familiar, but never derivative. Amazing!
Great songs. Good spirit. Fun & laughs. So refreshing. Love it !
We don't know why we love this song so much but we do.♥️🎵🎶🎤😎
I heard these girls on NPR radio today now here I am watching all the videos.
Wow…..that’s a great performance….thanks!
They're just lovely in every way.
I love wet leg band so full off life they certainly have something very original great to listen to
I have my old favourites but wet leg 🦵are so fresh and a good laugh 😅🤣

One of the most groundbreaking songs I've heard in a while.
You're talking pish 😂😂😂
Yeah, hindsight is 20/20. There's a 50/50 chance I was sober, though.@@gmantramp404
Rocking !!! Lots of energy there ! Love it.
Their live show has really improved in the past year.
A breath of fresh air
Fantastic show. Great gig at a great venue!
I'm happy this band exists.
Love this so much! Awesome!!

Thank you for sharing with us, John! I hope to see them if they ever come to Florida.
These women Rock Hard.
Big smile on my face
Terrifying. Brilliant. Best debut album I've heard in years.
You havent listened to a lot of music then have u ... this is pure kack ..
Look forward to hearing 100,000 singing along to this at Glastonbury. When they're headlining the Pyramid Stage, preferably.
On Sunday!
Absolutely, I hope they blow the place away just like Pulp did back in the day.

@@tonygriffin_ that's the one, they got kicked up the bill and owned the place. Common People was one of the best crowd performances I've ever seen.
I’m seeing them in The Louisiana in Bristol on the Thursday, postponed from February, so basically now a Glastonbury warmup show.
friggin' awesome!!!!!! made my day.
Just discovered Wet Leg... Freakin brilliant 😂
Hilarious! Infectious enthusiasm. Hope they sell a billion.

They're so fun! I hope they are truly enjoying themselves!

Who's singing the band or the crowd?
They remind me of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Some fine twirling.
Love that tame impala made time to join wet leg gigs

They've clearly seen and heard The Breeders.
Well, I would hope.
I was thinking Throwing Muses or a little bit of Bikini Kill, but that works too.
There is something wet running down my leg, I hope it's sweat.😚

These guys are literally Sonic Youth reincarnated
The singer looks like a R.Crumb girl .
Sounds like Los Campesinos
why screaming just because one twirls around? OMG...no wonder the world is falling apart...
So bummed thati just discovered this group. I totally would have gone to this show. Fun fact, The Fonda was where I first saw Babymetal.
oh noo, they are not reall💫💥

I wish you couldn’t hear the crowd singing. kinda ruins it for me.
Really? That just adds to it - that the audience is loving it, too!
lol..
Shite but I can't stop watching. Why ?!
Not keen, messy and tedious.

Try watching the official video with good audio. This is a fun video, but otherwise not a good representation of the actual music...

😀
They are. Seems like you need help with spelling, as well as accuracy and envious feelings though dude.
They're playing their guitars there. Bet you're confused now 😁

They play well enough for what they do. And they entertain! Which is so much more than many do!
