Pete is obviously not playing the clarinet here, but a phot of him with sax is not available.
I assembled this group while servicing as the director of music at the Entertainment Center on the Sandia Base military facility while serving in the U.S. Army. There was no bass player on the base, so I bought one and learned to play it by listening to Bill Evans's bass players Eddie Gomez and Scott Lefaro. We went on to record a program called "Through the Looking Glass--The History of Jazz for New Mexico Public Television to be shown in classrooms across the state.
