Thanks for providing this wonderful music! It does indeed have a relaxing effect ... even though it is winter and not autumn. Can you recommend a piece that works when one is feeling particulariiy inspired? I usually listen to gospel or Gregorian chants, but would love to find some classical pieces to listen to.

Totally disagree. He was very human and very talented in expressing certain human emotions. But yes, he does not belong to a world that does not appreciate talents, a world where music is only a commercial product and the ultimate goal is to create something that stupid customers are willing to buy en masse.

I am Sierra Leonean my piano professor and his professor was Corto whose professor was Chopin. I learn many pieces by Chopin: studies. Ballades, nocturnes, waltzes, etc.
My piano professor was Guy Jonson who lived till he was over 90 and gave his final concert at the Wigmore Hall.
How lucky you must be. I had no piano teacher at all and learned the same pieces by myself. Quite pretty, but not as good to play at Wigmore Hall.@@ChamberPianist

About a few months ago I really started taking a liking into classical music as someone with not only ADHD but a form of autism mostly high functioning it is quite relaxing and helps me express myself better when I do my own personal journal writing.

Was listening to Mozart for a bit today, but it was too enigmatic and rushed, the tempo swelled so heavily, so I had to switch to classic Frederic Chopin for today! The mellowing will help me write up this report without a feeling like I'm in a race.
