Zero bragging rights for my first set-up. It was an all in one Toshiba stereo unit. Record player, and receiver in one box, with prewired speakers. Couldn't afford many records back then, so lots of AM radio.
I had a Technics receiver and turntable, and listened thru a pair of Bose 301 speakers. My collection of vinyl is with my brother in KY, my cassettes are with me stored in my loft. All my listening these days is digital via Spotify/Apple Music and original compositions made using Logic Pro Ver. 11. My ears get their sound via a pair of KRK Rokit 5 powered studio monitors, and a KRK S10 powered studio subwoofer. I use a MOTU M4 audio interface with my M3 24” iMac. I didn’t “get serious” about recording my own original compositions until recently and find myself struggling to decide whether or not to devote more time to that and less time to my photography. Such a decision is made even more difficult when you have less years in front of you than behind.

Your equipment is very nice, but it has nothing on my victor victrola wind-up record player, now if I could only get it to play my CDs. Why is Chico looking at me that way, was it something I said?

yes
