Mushrooms are very medicinal. This is why anybody familiar with psilocybin and any other kind of fungi will tell you, "They are alive." They have a very ancient wisdom. To my experience, all mushrooms have always said, "Pay attention to your life. How you think, how you feel, and what will you do with the information that you always knew, but now are seeing in this point of view." This is why mushrooms are so respected in tribal cultures. This mental health treatment works for me too. Half micro doses do the trick for me. At least a few days at a time with lengthy time in between. Never addictive. Thank you for sharing this point!

Psilocybin changed my life. I suffer from 'idiopathic' PTSD ( or cptsd by modern standards). It means that my stress has no source or cause. My whole life I suffered without understanding why. 5 grams of Golden Teacher, prepared with extremely deliberate care and humility, in a dark room while laying in bed with music. Finally remembered why I was so broken. Almost 10 years of my childhood memories, repressed. I had been in therapy for over 20 years as an adult and this was the first time I finally felt like I knew what was happening to me. It didn't cure me, but it revealed the path and a true source of hope.

I have never used mushrooms, but the commentator said it had a similar affect as meditation. I discovered mantra meditation close to the age of 30. I would write out my negative thinking and come up with a positive mantra that contradicted the negative thinking. For 45 minutes, 5 days a week, for 18 months, I would recite a positive mantra in my mind and anytime my mind wandered I would bring my focus back to reciting the positive mantra in my mind. I changed my mantra every week. Mantra meditation, which I learned from the book Meditation for Dummies caused my thoughts to become more hopeful. It also brought me so much happiness. The book Meditation for Dummies also taught to not suppress feelings of pride, fear, anger, jealousy etc. The book teaches to feel feelings until they go away without acting on feelings for the most part. I discovered hell on earth is a mind that has not meditated and a mind that suppresses feelings. I am so much happier and never knew I could be so happy until I regularly practiced mantra meditation and felt my feelings until they went away.

If we manage to stay on it and not revert back to the default settings, the rewards are great! We literally get to "know thyself". We aren't our thoughts, we have them. The main thought was like realizing that if the bing bang was the start there must be something that made that big bang and I felt that was God. God was taking care of me on that trip and I still see God everywhere I go but sometimes God can be a demon too, that's how duality works and we are in a dual world. Buut, that duality might end when ego dies so we can be one with God again. Call it God, Braman, Tao, Allah or whatever you want, but I know, and feel, that there is a force that can guide us that is beyond our simple monkey mind. 3 years ago was the last time I tripped on mushrooms (about 2g). Everything was connected and beautiful in the day time in the forest. When it got dark we walked back through the forest with a torch to get to the street. I shined a light on the side of the path and in the soil were ancient bodies reaching out through soil cobwebs etc. they looked terrified, but beautiful with renaissance greek faces, i could tell by the nose shape. In fear I turned away and kept walking, wondering if those bodies where real and if I should call the police that there are bodies there. Once i got to the safety of the street lights, I realized that in fact its completely natural that there's bodies there and had to come to peace with it. I realized that the Earth is all just a recycled materials from BILLIONS of years. That means everything we see and touch, even the tarmac roads are built with reminants of human and animal bodies. It was indeed an ugly truth and quite a sight, but it taught me so much about the earth... all thanks to the mushrooms ancient wisdom! :)

There is a message within the experience. Sometimes it's for everyone. Sometimes it's personal. What's important is spreading the message that this teacher can help guide you to a better place and be in a stronger mental state. I needed high doses for an extended period to get my message. Those challenges changed me forever and showed me my path. Now I can see where I am headed.

My experience with magic truffels has made my life a lot more fun and exiting. I feel like the truffels have showed me how to live my life in a way that i would really enjoy it. I have struggled with ADHD and depression and i feel like i have a lot more controle and stability now. I am able to correct my thoughts way more easily and my productivity has gotten a lot better.
The fact that i have only had to try them once and to have such a beautiful experience amazes me everyday.

I only fully understood what happened to me with my heroic dose after reading "War and peace", such thing as being dead and being reborn. Almost a year ago i tried again but with a lower dose, with a focus on improve my tenacity, and i get out of it with two BIG aphorisms : " To reason and to feel at the same time " , "The minimum as the essence of the maximum". And the last thing that i obtain trough these mushrooms was a very profound view of the political word, and because of that, in some way i became like Goggins with me, my family, friends and people who surround me. Love to everyone, keep trying to do your best, in that, the world fully depends ("the minium as the essence of the maximum")

I tried psilocybin mushrooms a number of times and even grew them myself for a while. I like to describe my experience taking magic mushrooms as 5 minutes of bliss and 6 hours of anxiety. Yes, psilocybin invariably caused me anxiety, which I’m prone to anyway.
Of course, I have close friends who have had mostly positive experiences with psilocybin mushrooms, but I also know plenty of folks whose experience with psilocybin along with other drugs made them prime examples of what it means not to be enlightened.
People are always looking for some quick and easy ways to become enlightened, when in my experience at least, wisdom only comes with suffering, striving, having lots of experiences, and most of all, just curiosity and the willingness to learn new things every day. This is not to say that psychedelics cannot help us on the way to wisdom, but they are not the door to enlightenment, and, indeed, can be the door to hell itself.

Such a well researched video, I think it’s ridiculous we have a clear potential treatment for people to heal minds and society and restore our connection to the earth, yet the human world and society takes precedence over the wild environments, mushrooms are incredible, bad trips happen, setting matters, but they are so profound and concentrated in their power,
They definitely open one up to a deeper connection to reality and the universe

  • @stonepiratilla
    @stonepiratilla หลายเดือนก่อน +7

So this is my experience. I took a very high dose, close to 15 grams of dried mushrooms. During that trip, my mind and being transcended to limits I never thought possible.
I understood the nature of the universe, from planets to living beings and atoms. It showed me the path of God, about infinity and time. We live in an infinite loop that begins and ends in a being that engulfs everything, taking all the knowledge and developments of that universe until it implodes and creates a new, more advanced and complex universe.
This entity is what humans today know as "black holes." They are superior beings capable of absorbing everything around them over time. We come from a Super-Being that absorbed much of the previous universe (we're talking about such an unfathomable number of billions of years that our ape minds can't even begin to comprehend), and at some point, a great Being will appear to devour everything and start the cycle anew, giving rise to another, more elevated and complex universe.
This Entity, which we know as God, does not judge, does not feel or suffer; it simply seeks to evolve and create more complex beings, only to later devour them and continue transcending.
This is what I learned, or rather "remembered," because outside of this material body, I already had this knowledge, as we are eternal beings. I send love to all of you.

Just to make sure you and others understand, ergot is poisonous in large doses. Do not ingest it. It contains ergotamine that is an intense vasoconstrictor and loss of blood flow to extremities and liver. However it can be converted to LSD in a lab.

I could find a world of beauty in my carpet when I was doing shrooms. I didn’t need anything from anyone and I didn’t need to learn anything because I understood that everything is beautiful and connected. And I’m glad I had the therapeutic experience. But the effect is like waking up after a good dream. You want to go back to sleep and keep dreaming, but in reality you have to wake up and face the world.

There were other individuals who were critical to the story of how wasson became aware of the use of Psychoactive fungi in Oaxaca. Blas Reko, Robert Weitlander, and notably the famous ethnobotanist Richard Evans Schultes during the late 1930s. Gordon Wasson never sent mushrooms to Hofmann, he instead sent specimens to Roger Heim, a French mycologist, who was the first person we are aware of to grow Psilocybe in lab conditions. Heim then travelled to Oaxaca with Wasson, where the French mycologist collected a number of specimens, and returning to France then grew a number of species. The Psilocybe mexicana sent to Hofmann were actually from Roger Heim.
