Hey guysss :) I shared my storefront link description below which includes similiar threads to the one I use in this video. I am answering your ‘most asked ‘ questions in the end of the video. Hope this vid was helpful :) Instagram: Taudoire
I've been a hairdresser for 20 years and I LOVE your video. You are correct that you should remove the hair wrap at the 3 month mark because it could cause breakage if left longer than that. Your creativity is inspirational. Thank you for the great tips!
Very good tutorial!🤗 I remember the 90s, whereever I travelled that days, I got myself a hairwrap done in the streets. 1994 - first one in Paris. 1995 in Hungary, 1997 in London.... I can' t wait to geht another one by someone who actually KNOWS how to do it, like you!🤩
OMG, this comment made me feel soooo old and nostalgic in the same time ( in a good way🤪) i m missing the days that i sat on boardwalk of OC and gave an hairwrap to random people and have random conversations 😍
You’re voice over is so sweet and cute!! I’ve been doing hair wraps for years and could never figure out how to get those cool designs. Thank you so much for this tutorial!!!
A mom on Facebook said her young son got "a unicorn twist done at the CNE" and it was time to take it out. She said he wanted another one done and was asking if anyone knew how to do it. It was just wrapped as far as I could tell with different coloured thread. I sent her a link to your video. I thought the circle to keep non involved hair away from the braid that was getting wrapped was a brilliant idea. Your video was one of the most instructional I've seen and I liked how you fast forward until you came to a special technique. Well done.
Thank you!!!!! LOVE the different designs you showed and thank you thank you for showing how to tie it!!!!! I always hear people saying “then tie it” and I never knew how, my ends always looked messy. Thank you!
Great tutorial of a style that isn't used as often as the 4 knot, I personally prefer this style more than the 4 knot and reversed 4 knot. Hair closest to the scalp can mat then dred if left in too long but usually can be brushed out. I left mine in for a year and ended up with a small dredded section that was easily brushed out once the thread & beads were removed.
Thank you so very much. Your explanation and demonstration was amazing! I had one put in my hair while on vacation in Florida a couple weeks ago and I love it so much I wanted to learn how to do it and now I feel confident that I can. I feel rather sick that I paid $40 to have it done though when I see how easy it is
Omg ik this is kinda late but I got a wrap in Clear water Florida and it cost 55$! It was insane! Then I learned how to do it myself and now I'm like "why did i get that hair wrap?" lol
Thank you oh so much, I’ve been so into this recently. I have really wavy, voluminous blonde hair. And the tiny braids suit it so nicely. I’ve been dying to learn how to do it. So, again, thank you! ❤️
Hello! This was such a great tutorial, thank you! I just tried it and it turned out well. I have two questions though: 1. My hair is long and when I did the wrap, the start of the wrap was pretty thick but the end ended up being really thin. Is there a way to fix this? 2. Is there a way to tie the wrap that is more seamless? Again, thank you!
You're the only person who I've seen do the criss Cross like me. Some people will leave the colours out which then males you see a gap....thank you for sharing people this.
Hey :-) your video is awesome thanks for that I just wondering if I could put the little ball you put in at the end can I do it with the same technic in the middle of the hair ?
Hey Hey, i really love your tutorial! will try it for sure! do you have any recommondation for the material of the yarn ? Maybe a lik directly where i can buy it? because i dont know which material and which thickness..... Thank You! :)
im not sure if ur still wondering but if you go to a craft supply store and go to the embroidery section that is the thread to use. i have a bunch of it and it’s the right size! comes in a bunch of different colors and patterns!

Sou artesã de Matinhos, litoral do Paraná - Brasil. Minha nora me pediu para fazer no cabelo dela. Foi o melhor vídeo sobre como fazer terere, agora vou tentar e com certeza, vou conseguir. Gratidão!
How do you make it look curly like curly hair? I see the young ladies hair is straight but when you’re done putting the wrap on it looks like you’ve done it on curly hair. Did you do this on purpose and if so, how because I don’t hear or see you mentioning it? I have straight hair, but would love to have some in my hair that look curly like this one that you’ve done. Thanks ahead of time.
Ive tried this with 4x the length of hair twice now and i never have enough thread left to finish it! Dont know where im going wrong. Going to try and cut them longer next time.
lol I'm a guy with dreads and I absolutely love this! I've got some beads and cotton thread on the way from etsy, can I like pause in the wrapping, add a bead then continue? Is that possible lol? Thanks anyway

Hola, una pregunta, con que hilo se hace la envoltura?

Do you normally wrap with two same colored threads or only one leaving the second among the rest of the bunch??
Well depend on patterning but mostly with two😊

lol I'm a guy with dreads and I absolutely love this! I've got some beads and cotton thread on the way from etsy, can I like pause in the wrapping, add a bead then continue? Is that possible lol? Thanks anyway
Yes definitely. I would "tie" the thread so it doesn't unravel while you put the bead on
Wrapping.. wrap wrap wrapping.. whichi whichi.. ima rap star 😂
Thank you for the precious video! My qustion is: are the beads you use something special? Where can I get things like those?
Edit Molnár it’s a metal wire bent around
You can get beads like this on Amazon. Just search for metal beads.
Merci pour ce partage !bise de france(tarn)
