This episode had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Inque was by far the biggest threat of Terry's rogue's gallery. She was the only villain Terry never really defeated in a one on one fight.
Stylistically in a fight, yes Inque was a tough match. However, remember that about half of the enemies Terry faced he could not finish on his own, partly due to inexperience, partly cause it was in the future and the technology and enemies were more powerful than in Bruce's day. Sneak Peek pretty much was untouched by Batman for example. But yes the encounters with Inque had me on the edge of my seat because I was nervous for the new batman!
V Ling Even when Terry became a more seasoned crime fighter, he still never really beat Inque on his own. The first two times he fought her, he needed help from Bruce; after that, Inque was defeated by Superman's unexpected intervention; the next time after that, she would have killed Terry had her daughter not tampered with a mutagen she injected herself with.
+MrPjw5 I think ur splitting hairs to say he was saved because batman or his enemies get saved several times by some reason in the show. Most fights end in escape, but Terry actually was able to finish her off once and had a second chance too, but got hit. Its just something that happens a lot in the series. Many enemies werent defeated by Batman either, but defeated themselves.
Listening to this, I just imagine a Rocksteady Batman Beyond game. Bruce talking to you "Terry" through an earpiece flying through the city in the new Batwing. BADASS. Please let dreams come true!
I like how Batman Beyond has upbeat rock music. It provides a nice change of pace from the orchestra music used in the original Batman animated series.
Endless Dream it was a time when kids grew up and became teenager. And what did teenager listen in 99?Metal.It's like Legend of Korra and 5 season of Samurai Jack in which plot was more complex and we saw adult or pre adult content
Well, it fits Terry's Batman better than Bruce's IMO. Terry is a street-smart kid and a brawler that isn't afraid to get right in your face or fight dirty (as Joker found out the hard way). Terry's by no means dumb, but he's still just a kid who lacks Bruce's experience, wisdom, and tactical ingenuity. Bruce was more tactical and methodical, even in a fight, and his primary weapons were fear and intimidation to unsettle his enemies....though he was still perfectly capable of holding his own in a fight, he would much rather scare a potential enemy into running away or giving up whenever possible.
Eh i wouldnt say that sure she was close to killing him a few times but we are talking about a villain who screwed batman mentally Inque never made Terry push over the edge like how Joker did with bruce
Jason Todd Inque never was stylistically or thematically Terry's Antithesis as Joker was to Bruce, nor ideologically motivated as Poison Ivy was. If this aspect would have been corrected, I agree Inque would have made his best and true nemesis. Joker spites the reality Batman represents and tries to make him compromise his own ideals. Poison Ivy strives to punish those who she perceives evildoers just as Batman does. Inque just steals stuff and does hired jobs I guess? There was lacking element in her character motivation compared to these two villains that Bruce had. I mean, one could think that both Joker and Poison Ivy represent a challenge to Batman even without their powers (Joker of course has none and that even further makes him exceptional). In the end, both villains declare; "we are not so different from you." What is the inner moral challange that Inque represents without her powers?
Me listening to this music. My friend comes in. My friend: What are you listening to? Me: The Batman Beyond soundtrack My friend: Oh that show sucks. It has no meaning and- 45 minutes later... Police Officer: So you say he shot himself and the gave you the gun? Me: Yup.
batman beyond: our hunch payed off Inque was after the prototype battle pod Bruce: that figures any terroist group would pay a fortune for it Batman beyond: then i hope they didn't pay in advance cause they aren't getting it
@Madhatter757 Yeah same here. I'm 23 right now and I still remember this song! Oh yeah Batman Beyond on that new channel The Hub. I'm so psyched for it!!!!
@encroachingDarkness No way. I'm to young to go laid. I need to wait a little longer until I'm ready for that. Plus, that's commiting "Adultery" which is a sin. I'm not going to make this sin.
The Main Genre is Rock , Sub-Genre can be Alternative Metal , music doesn't make a song complete to be put in a certain genre , lyrics matter a lot too.
@Madhatter757 That still doesn't erase the fact that you and lots of other people don't know how to differentiate between the said defenition of a "song" and "music".
@DragovetDante There must be something wrong with you people because i've been saying this shit for years now. It's not a song. A song is when there is singing involoved. So since you here no singing in this video it's not a song. Oh, and another thing maybe you should go read a dictionary and find the right definition.

He never beat mr freeze or his arch nemesis blight
Literally my favorite episode of the series because Terry came so close Everytime but he just never quite got it
"What kept you?"
"Sudden case of shyness."
Rock and Batman is a great match. I don’t think anyone would disagree with me on this.
I agree with you too rock just fits Batman beyond
Nu metal
@@William1102-k1o Batman*
It fits Batman Beyond very well but I can’t imagine it working with Animated Series.

Still one of the very best soundtracks ever ♤
Nearly the entire show’s soundtrack is metal and I love it.
Oh God, Inque and Shriek have the coolest themes!!
1:57
The name's Deadpool I like how creepy blights was
"you dont like the water do you"? *kicks water to Inque
Inque was the best Batman Beyond villain IMO and her theme is epic.
She and Cell are indeed dangerous villains from future
Nah her character was bland

Bring back industrial metal in children's cartoons
I feel this is the true theme of Batman Beyond! He is a true successor to the legend!
i could listen to that guitar riff forever

“You don’t like the water, do you?”

This is anything but upbeat. Hard as fuck, maybe.

Aaaand straight to the bangin' music list it goes.
Same.
"You don't like the water. Do you?" *_Kicks some water at Inque_*
Inque is basically the femininity of Poison Ivy mixed with the powers of Clayface. It's pretty fucking great.
I need this on SPOTIFY, please!
Inque: One part Catwoman, one part Clayface, all evil and extremely dangerous.
Man, I wish Cartoons still took themselves somewhat seriously like in the early 2000s / late 1990s
You mean early 1990.
1:27 Fucking sickest riff on the soundtrack.
Man, I miss the early 2000's..... T_T

"Thats it your showing me every thing
Inque my favorite and arguably the best Beyond villain, especially when you consider Terry never beat her without help or outside interference
I love this soundtrack so much its like the lost instrumental korn album lol
Sonic adventure chaos 6 vibes.
"She won't get through that way either. There's a layer of solid steel." ~Bruce
"Think she had something else in mind." ~Terry
I love this song, my favorite from the series.

Gabriel Proteus I agree. Trent Reznor is the only person who would be able to do such a soundtrack justice.
why not have the same soundtrack as in the series?

I thought Inque was similar to Clayface from the original BTAS. Terry did quite well for the modern day Dark Knight.

THE START SOUNDS LIKE MY DISHWASHER
Inque's theme reminds me a little of Natural Killer Cyborg from MOTHER 3
YEAH A FINAL LAP!!!
Why does this sound like It came from an early 2000 Kamen Rider season?
The Batman Beyond soundtrack is literally one big Nu-Metal album
Terry was dodging all of inque attacks in the final fight scene 1:19
More like Inque chases Batman...
@TheBlackMoose Hell yeah! Just finished watching one of the episodes on that channel! Ahh, nostalgia! :D
From 1:58 - 2:15 they stole that riff from a Tool song called "Flood".
Edit: Still love this song
hi, excuse me, do you know if there is that musical theme from when terry faces ink a second time at the chemical factory?
