I felt and still feel this is a close series... Knicks got clutch 3's tonight (for a change) and Mitchell Robinson STILL gets ZERO RESPECT from NBA officials. He was stoning Embid and refs calling a PF even when Embid takes 4 steps into Mitch knocking him down.
I'm afraid for what will happen when they play 76ers @ Philly, Mitch will be in foul trouble early and often. I'm a Knicks fan, but I'm not confident in this team, but maybe I'm wrong.

For this series Mitch is a better option against Embid especially with his injured knee
The biggest difference honestly from this year and last year playoffs is that Coach is playing his bench players! To not play rose or Fourier last year in playoffs when players was struggling shooting was ridiculous but all the injuries that happened with the Knicks players this year I believe showed Coach Thibs that he can lean on the bench to come in. The Knicks bench pretty much got all starters damn near. And I think this year that is their strength they have the best bench in my opinion.
He couldn’t trust Fournier to defend, Rose was injured. You can’t score 20 but give up 25 at the 2 or 3 position and expect to win. This team are playing defense on a string ( together ) even Precious can come in and make a difference because they have been tested all season with those injuries to our key players. It definitely helped with their chemistry and confidence.

Brunson Will Play Better In Game 2 He Always Come Back Better When He Has A Bad Game
he is trying way too hard to impress in playoffs. If Jalen settles down he'll be fine, but u could see he was pressing tonight.
So will Donte , those injuries to our key players actually helped the bench build chemistry with the starters. Any player you plug in, can play with the starters and be comfortable. If the 76ers decide to go small, Precious can come in and play too . The Knicks have been tested all season, and they have responded well.
@@donaldyoung2983 AGREE 100% when Julius went down they played better team ball-got much more from the bench and getting Mitch back along with the trade for Anunoby was/is HUGE. However, last night showed they cannot take anyone lightly, yet w/ Brunson struggling they still came up big. CLUTCH trey's down stretch!
