Esme blaming everyone except for herself for her own misery. Her lack of self awareness is a red flag as she once again ignores what she did to her victims, but feels justified in what she did to them, but how dare they be happy, how dare they move on. That's what irks her about Trina. When she said toTrina in the courtroom; I can't believe you're being so rational about this; as in; how are you not seeking vengeance? She's so obsessed with the fact that she's not getting the attention she wants from Spencer even though when she was with him, she emotionally abused him and treated him like sh*t. But now she wants him, but only because she can't stand the fact of him being happy. And that Trina makes him happy; something she could never do. They never had it, because it was fake. Even if she had Spencer tomorrow, she would grow tired of him, and it would be the same cycle of abuse all over again.
She surely would be tired of him if she had him. Narcs are never content. Always scanning their old memories to old supply and looking around for new supply. I remember when Heather was suspect of in the death of Diana Taylor she had Joe Kelly in her clinches adamant to prove her innocence, while humping Scottie.
I knew esme not going to the police to report ace missing first would look like a red flag. Esme would have never went to the police first because she will not be able to hide behind the amnesia facade anymore.

Ace is her meal ticket and Heather was correct she has no money, no one that truly will stand behind her once they discover her memories are back. Her trustees have seized her trust fund because of her crimes, once word spreads about her memory the Invader position will be gone too.
