I got married at 33yrs,only dated for 6 months , indeed God is faithful.”When the time is right ,I the Lord will make it happen “ was my mantra in waiting.
God is so faithful that He presents a suitor to every women from the age of 16 years when He bestows readiness for motherhood, but modernity's "right to choose" has now made women quite picky. Unfortunately, people have developed their own programmes such as education, career etc. When a woman misses on this opportunity/offer they start praying for another chance. But the choices keep on dwindling.
This conversation has been everything! I reasonate with Sheila on many aspects! In my early thirties single and my take home from this is that "Its about how you believe who God is" he truly isn't withholding anything good from me!!!
I resonate with a lot of Sheilla's views. At 39 never married with not kids i think as you grow older and invested in things that interest you, marriage becomes a secondary need.
I'm turning 30 soon, single Christian actively waiting. I relate with a lot of your ideas except for the part of being okay with being single. I really desire marriage but I'm scared of doing it without God. In as much as I want it badly, I want to do it God's way. That's why I will wait amidst the doubts and worries. I'm just working on trusting God and accepting that he doesn't withhold good things from me. Thank you for this interview, it has given me hope in God.
So glad you're choosing to trust God. He doesn't disappoint and always does over and above what we ask. He is good!!🤗 May He show Himself off in and through you🙏🏾
This is such a breath of fresh air on the social streets.. I’ve never resonated with anyone like I did with Sheilla.. People make you seem so abnormal when your not actively thinking about marriage.. Thanks Lisa, This one was it for me.
This is so good. Thank you so much Sheila. God is really good, the peace you have despite what society says can only come from God. Thank you for proclaiming God’s goodness. My take home is that God, my good loving father is not withholding anything good from me. Thank you again
I like how she is content within herself, fact is married or single you need that trait because marriage won't solve all your problems. I wish her well in her future, whatever that looks like, obvious beautiful things❤
This is inspirational! Never seen someone so content and comfortable in their singleness. Sometimes we fear to ask the question ‘what if I never get married?’ especially because of the society we live in. Thank you Lisa for bringing her on set✨✨
U feel that way cuz society has brainwashed a lot of us into conforming to what they believe is the right way to live by stigmatizing those that don't line up!! There r so many miserable souls trapped in marriages esp females that they don't want. Society pushed into into it thru families n religious leaders! Otherwise, they wouldn't be married if they had the guts to stand their ground!! Bottom line, don't let anybody bully u into marriage or having kids u don't want! Take charge of your life as adult n don't let anybody tell you what to do with yo life period!!
Woooooowwww....Is she for real?? Her wisdom, Intelligence, Poise, Articulation, Authenticity, Purity, Faith in God.... am mind blown by her...amazing interview!!!
Glad to find someone who still holds onto tne Christian values of abstinence regardless of how long the wait maybe. True love waits. Recently someone was telling me that abstinence is an old adage. I am glad to find this great content. Leave it to God.
Honestly sometimes you are single and its really not your fault. The church prepares people for marriage but never for singlehood. What if you'll never get married is a very good question. Contentment that comes from God is what we need. Thank you Lisa. I honestly love these videos on singlehood. God bless you!!
I would love to meet Sheila …it’s hard to meet people like you and your way of thinking I love it for you. And atleast there are still good and honest people in this world…you have made me still believe in humans
I love her honesty. And God, this was such a beautiful and unique conversation. Our lives are literally written down on stone, go to school, work and get married. And we end up depressed when things don't go in that order. More grace Lord, more grace.❤
Wow!!! I’m single but I didn’t even think like this. This lady had really educated me. And we’ve been friends on Facebook for a long time. God bless you Sheila. God is indeed Good 🙏🏾🫶
I have never related so much and never felt so seen and recognised like with Sheila. Sheila, God Bless you sooo much. You mirror me and maybe others with what you have shared. Thank you for this and being open and honest about something we are afraid to talk about with family and friends. wow..Thank You Lisa for bringing her. God Bless you
Lisa thank you so much for bringing this guest she really spoke from her heart and this is a conversation we need to have, it is okay if one doesnt get married it is not a crime
Wow beautiful Sheila, my take is the love of God, he will not withhold anything. Singleness is a gift. Let's trust God because he is worthy of our trust.
I personally know Sheila and she’s such an amazing soul. So intelligent and poised. I believe her Boaz is out there being moulded by God. When he’s ready, he’ll come. God’s timing…
Such godly wisdom! Thank you Sheila for sharing so beautifully 🤗 God continue to glorify Himself through your life 🙌 He is indeed a good good father, does not withhold anything good from His children and can be trusted!
What a coincidence, l have learnt great lessons from both Sheila's from this episode and the Sheila on Kambua's episodes strong women indeed and both stories so deep yet so encouraging.
The most unique perspective anyone can give on trusting God and I love that she represents a view that not everyone is made for marriage or children. We cannot harass God into what we think society expects. He is God and he loves us more than we do ourselves therefore he knows.
Almost 40 and also accepting that i may not get married. However when told i had chances of getting problems as a woman... i was advised to give birth... i had to.. being a health worker... but yes.... it is well... God is so good... and life is awesome.... married or not...
Sheila is beautiful in and out. My mum always says there is no life that is more ideal than the other. I think there are many ladies out there like Sheila, to whom marriage and children are not the defining part of their life.
Woow, Thank you so much for bringing in Sheila, this is so touching and inspirational. A lot of good information to learn. We need to learn not to be consumed by society's expectations but rather we should be more concerned with God's expectations and plans towards us, for His plans are always good. There is a need to inculcate a discipline of trusting God and looking to God. Both seasons (Marriage and Singleness) are a blessing if we really have God in our lives and put Him first, but we always cross the lines without God. Again, thank you for sharing Shaila.

Thank you Lisa and Sheila for this, it really spoke to me!
