Somehow not surprised Luna has some leftover milk. Had a chicken (named Spice for the red speckles down her front that looked like she'd spilled spices on herself) years back who had stopped laying (she was an old girl) but started laying because she was jealous of the new chickens. They were tiny eggs and had no yolk, but she was determined that she would not be replaced as queen of the coop. Luna reminds me of her since both get/got into all sorts of antics. Happy birthday Luna, keep up the antics for Spice who's no longer around to do so.

I had one of the group lay one no bigger then the end/tip of my thumb to the first knuckle from the tip. Way too small for even the silkies. It was I guess about the size of a Robin’s egg. Crazy. My kids that it was fake until we cracked it open to an egg white but no yolk. Heck even just the yolk of a silkie egg was larger than this egg, lol!!! We just thought it was cool!!! Much love!!!
