yeah, that lip hack has never worked for me either and I don't have particularly full lips. plus you can always tell if they have super overlined their lips when they turn to the side and see the whole illusion break. the blush underneath foundation does work with liquid blushes too!! i saw smantha ravandahl do that same technique like 2 years ago and implemented the concealer portion of it into my routine and it works great!! especially if you're using a concealer that doesn't match your foundation 100% but still have spots to cover up
