Got to hear them in 1992. At the beginning of this song, they did, "Now......" and tossed the mic into the audience. It was passed around as people got a chance to rap it. Everyone knew the words. The band loved it. The audience loved it. RIP MCA. Edit to add, I use this song as a speech warmup since I'm a minister and speak weekly. "His voice was hoarse, his throat was dry, he asked me for a sip." can be quite the tongue-twister when done quickly. No one has questioned me....yet.
I'm so old that I got this album when it first came out. Pushing this bass thru my twin 12inch Cerwin Vega speakers in my car's trunk was EPIC!!! For bass, also listen to Ice T's "6 in the Morning"

One of my favorite Beastie boys songs of all time. Definitely a classic! They were pretty lit considering they were made in the '80s
🔥🔥🔥‼️‼️
@@StaxReacts this was the first time I watched one of your reactions, but I loved it and I will definitely be watching more! Keep up the great work, my friend!
That first album is just so unique. They were so young. Such jokers - you hold up the album art to a mirror and the plane number 3MTA3 ... Says EATME. 😂 Unfolded the plane looked like a crushed out cigarette to me.
🤣🤣🔥🔥🔥
You gotta do the whole album bro. So damm good!
Going to do that live very soon
Got to hear them in 1992. At the beginning of this song, they did, "Now......" and tossed the mic into the audience. It was passed around as people got a chance to rap it. Everyone knew the words. The band loved it. The audience loved it. RIP MCA. Edit to add, I use this song as a speech warmup since I'm a minister and speak weekly. "His voice was hoarse, his throat was dry, he asked me for a sip." can be quite the tongue-twister when done quickly. No one has questioned me....yet.

Another fun warmup to master is "Irish wristwatch."
I'm so old that I got this album when it first came out. Pushing this bass thru my twin 12inch Cerwin Vega speakers in my car's trunk was EPIC!!! For bass, also listen to Ice T's "6 in the Morning"
Betttttt
