Keep on top of your notarial appointment expiry date and your license renewal date. If you want to have a seamless transition from year to year, it is in your best interested to keep track of certain dates and CE requirements. If you're in a notary state, ensure you know your notarial appointment number, your expiry date and renewal needs as well as how to log in to your Secretary of State website to stay on top of this (including if you have to get a new stamp!)
For license holders, ensure you have the proper paperwork collated and ready to go to the board (money, application, CE proof, etc) on time so that you don't get dinged for a "late fee."
