Since she wanted to walk i wanted to install the IQ app 'simple walk' and since then it's constantly freezing and not working properly, even after removing the app again. Hoping a factory reset will solve and it's not ruined for good.
How did this video help me? My Garmin 235 was not uploading to the satellite [and then to the web application server], but after the restart fixed my Gamin's GPS tracking. I thought my Garmin had bit the dust. Thank you Jim Cry.
Thanks so much! My watch switched off when I plugged it into to my computer via USB and would not switch back on with the power button. The second method that you explained caused it to restart without loss of data. Thanks again.

Hi there. Great tutorials, thank you! I've just purchased this watch. It was fully charged 100%, I powered off overnight and in the morning, when I turned the watch back on, the battery was at 22%. I'm confused, any ideas as to why?
this may be outdated lol idk but i just got a garmin 235 for cross country and every time i try to turn it off it just restarts 🥴 it doesn’t give me a turn on/turn off pop up
hmmm that's odd. You might need to give it a clean with a wipe and pin to get into the gaps. Also check if you are behind a software update, that might fix things.
Hello! Please help. My garmin 235 went dead yesterday. I charged the whole night and when I tried to turned on, there was nothing on the screen. But the 4 buttons are beaming when I pressed them. Thanks for this - but resetting factory settings doesn't reset date or time - my watch has been telling me a date 3 days out of date and the time is 4 hours out of date
My case: I did not have any image, nothing, no even to select yes or no, I just have some illumination in the background, but the battery was fully charge. My solution, I pressed the run and lap button for 1 minute at the same time, then my screen was completely off. I turn it on, and the problem was solved, I have the screen fully working again.
jon i know jon and it works on a sony device but not on a samsung i think its a setting somewhere in samsung but cant find it :-( tried it on 2 difference samsung devices and no luck.

Been having errors left right and center with this POS. -Clock changes whenever it pleases automatic or not -Every step registered is aknowledged with a vibration and a beep -Activity tracking is off. Way off. For this pricepoint go with something else. God is this flawed technology to the extreme.

+Gil Fran sounds like it's dead. If you are still under warranty I'd call Garmin support and get a replacement

i have a problem with the audio alert( speed etc.) all settings are good but i tried on 2 devices and not voice at all what must i do?
you'll only get a beep not a voice alert.

You only get voice if you carry a phone with you with the connect app running, not on the watch alone, the watch does not speak it beeps
