Not only does this home give us an asset with extreme value, but it also allows us to provide a safe space for our children to seek refuge while creating their own version of the American dream.
One cannot downplay the role that failure plays in the creation of successful people. Sometimes the female barbers be the best at respecting your time. I had to quit a black barbershop cos the barbers there were always talking, eating or dabbing up any and every fellow who came through. I spent 2hrs before getting into the chair and I was like, this ish is ridiculous. I’m done. Booked an appointment at a white Sportsclips. In and out in 20mins. Never looked back.

I loooove a come up story! I am a product of a single parent household. My mom was a single parent (we were on food stamps when I was really small) but I never lacked anything bc she worked HARD and is still working at 63! She made sure I didn’t slack in school, that was important to her. She bought her first home in her 50s, handed me her 2000 neon when I was a junior in college, now Glory to God I’ll be graduating as a physician next year!
When you have great work ethic, your faith in Jesus you can’t go wrong!
Your kids will never EVER forget how you have provided for them, even when they rebel bc all kids do. They’ll always know their parents loved them with action!
