Building off the new features in Alpha 19 for Space Haven, we're operating a clandestine smuggling and research vessel for Weyland Yutani. Our objective is to synthesize a marketable product from alien corpses. We're starting with 6 crew members and focusing on clearing alien derelicts, and smuggling bug drugs past the military alliance.

Small advice from a rookie to a vet. Something I been doing quite a bit recently is literally dodging haulers. The timing is tricky but if you get it you can step aside as they dash to you and get the jump on them.
I’ve done a lot of the hauler dodging in the past, but it’s honestly more micro than I care to do most of the time. Really effective in long corridors though.
Admin doesn't understand my well managed maintenance schedule, It is more important to fix breakfast than to fix the water purifier.

Would be nice if mining stations could refine materials for you like refineries in Star Citizen. It could make a low tech mining run viable.
A narrative thing could be if the merchant federation gives you a hyperspace quest, you have to accept it. Like Weyland-Yutani themselves give the order for you to stop and do something (like they made the Nostromo stop to check out LV426).

I like it. We’ll do merchant federation missions and military alliance scouting missions since that gives corporate some advance notice of resources.

Fun times. Grenades seem to be dangerous to crew as enemies if you miss the throw.

The way you do your combats at 4X speed has me panicking every time you unpause 😨
I generally only do it on derelicts. I’ve done it enough to know when it’s generally safe to speed it up. Doesn’t come without some risks but rarely leads to death.
In space, no one can hear ze sad flammenwerfer sounds...
