I personally believe that the B5 are really hindered by not having to fight for their spot.
I agree. Anyone who doesn’t follow the Eurovision songs prior to the competition doesn’t know their songs, while at the same time already have favorites from the two semi finals.

Not having to perform, being able to save their voices and don´t having to go through the stress of not qualifiying is such a enormous advantage, and if they think they were at any way hindered by not having to fight for their spot they should give up their big 5 vip status and perform just like the rest.

Agreed! I'm from the UK and tbh it just allows us to continue sending crappy, empty songs with mediocre staging. We just take up space that a really worthy song from another country could fill.

I love this squad!! I’m so sad that this year of Eurovision is almost over :(( Anyway, I’m so happy that France seems to be peaking at the right time; when Bilal won Destination Eurovision, many people were unhappy and many said that his unpopularity with the juries meant France would be coming last or near enough. Fast forward a few months and Bilal is one of the favourites for tomorrow night’s final! I’m so pleased because it’s such a beautiful song, Bilal’s vocals have improved enormously and the staging elevates it even further (also I would love some redemption for Madame Monsieur who were robbed last year!).
I disagree with Angus's claim that Australia or Switzerland would win the televote due to its chart-friendly appeal and that Netherlands wouldn't do well with televoters due to it being a male ballad because Il Volo and Salvador Sobral were both male ballads that won the televote when they competed at Eurovision and neither of them are chart-friendly entries. Also, Australia's song has opera and opera isn't something you hear on the radio often.

I just want to see Tamta in the Top 10 and I still believe in it.
Netherlands should win it, it´s pure, sensitive and appealing.
Iceland won´t do well with the juries but will surprise in the televote.
Azerbaijan and Sweden both could really pull off a surprise.
We forget about the televoting power of Russia and Italy.
Greece is really jury friendly.
Australia also jury friendly but how will the public react to it?
Like this year is stunning me completely, I can´t predict anything.

I love the Netherland's song, but I think that it's a little bit overrated. (I think he will not win but in top3)
The fact that people are already counting out Albania because of the death slot means that they are pretty much stats and patterns freaks.
I know that there are many slots where certain countries havent done well in their running order but I think it rather depends on the song than the running order. History says Albania doesnt care about running order and they break the curse. And, I refuse to believe they barely scrapped through because of getting 2nd slot.
In 2012, Albania performed 3rd in GF and finished 5th. In 2018, again, performed 3rd in semifinal and they said they wont qualify because of the death slot and they qualified. This year placed 14th between favorites and they qualified. They will break the curse again today.

It is going to be a piece of cake for Duncan. I am from Azerbaijan and in 12 years that we have competed in Eurovision this is the first time I feel we deserve to win. Duncan has a great song, but it didn't impress me nearly as much as Chingiz did. At this point I think we will barely get into top ten, but I am proud of our boy for doing great job. Azerbaijan is my homeland and winner for this year, despite nobody even mentioning us as favorites at all.

Y’all are probably SO sick of me repeating myself (lol), but Azerbaijan is one to watch. Winner? Idk, probably not quite, but a VERY high rank! I this this I gonna be a split win of Jury to Netherlands and Australia to public, HOWEVER, given Hatari’s uniqueness and actually great quality showing, we could be in for a huge shock if they pull a Ukraine 2016 and come second in both Jury and Public and end up winning???! I think that the grand final will be amazing! A lot of songs are so good and interesting! But I think that the time for Italy to win is just arriving because the general performance is wow! Simple enough, modern enough, exciting and moving enough, the dancers look great on stage with him! This song has it all! And he was PERFECT and AMAZING tonight.
