- Today I create a big wall of wood that needed to be stacked so that it can dry and be sold. All of it is wood that I cut on the farm a while back. Also, I go check out a commercial property that has some real big oaks, ash, cherry and cottonwood trees that the owner wants cut down and hauled away, I think that I am the right guy for the job!
If you're a wood guy you can't help but get excited about the prospect of a bunch of easy to get free wood even if it's for someone else. Can't wait to see the wood windfall!
You'll see it tomorrow!
Hope you got the Huskies sharp for the oaks......good luck and stay safe!! From over the pond!
I did! They are always sharp as soon as they aren't I stop and sharpen!
Stacks!
It's like stacking money!
Man oh man Chris you have been lucky on the free firewood lately! Sounds like the perfect score really close to the wood yard. Less miles to haul = more loads hauled🤣 Stay safe! GNI
You got that right! You'll see it tomorrow on the video!
I'm already looking forward to your next video - hoping to see those trees come down.
You are in luck! A video of cutting down some big oaks is coming up soon!
Do you ever look for folks to buck logs when you end up with a glut of projects (nice problem) like this? That Easton made should arrive at just the right time to catch up on splitting.
@@min-dakwoodhound7314 No, I haven't it's hard to find guys who can and will work! Yes the Eastonmade will be on videos real soon!
New wood won't stop coming! :D
It never does!
🤘
Thanks for watching again!
Brian walking on the pallets, that's tough on your feet and ankles. No video of the new wood site???
You'll see it tomorrow!
you got wood lol, are you done with the farmers land for a bit?
Yes, but I'll be back after the crops are off. But I am going to go cut on a commercial property on tomorrows video- two huge oaks!
New sub, cool set up! For those “gotta get it outta here today” jobs, do you have (or wish you had) a winch on the trailer to yank logs into the trailer to bring home, dump and buck up later?
No I don't. But if I'm going to wish how about a tractor, wood processor, skid steer, wood elevator, a couple of guy who will work 12-16 hours a day for little pay, a private chiropractor, a hot tub, some dancing girls, my own island and a jet to get there and a dump truck full of $100 bills! HA! If that wish ever comes true I'll share it with you! Thanks for subscribing, I really appreciate it Steve!
It's fun watching others working while I enjoy my morning coffee. Do you ever lose any wood to rot that remains on the ground before stacking?
No, I don't let it sit for much more than a month max.
👍🏻
In person four days out of the week. Wednesday is remote. Everyone is in class. They did not break it up into A and B. We will prolly get shut down soon
Eh. I do better when I go to school for the day. It’s hard for me to focus at home because I have so many projects. 😂
Yeah I suppose
School wasn't my favorite place either.
Awesome vid that day Chris! 🔥💯👍. See you soon! Andrew from NB :)
Thanks!
When are you going back to the farm and do some more cutting ?
Not until the crops are off the fields, but on tomorrows video I go to cut on a commercial property- two huge oaks!
Chris being a woodhound is a sickness. Once you get it you have it for life. Love the videos. Can’t wait to see my favorite saw work. I have a 576 also and love it. Get a fresh chain and let it eat.
Ya, it's a good saw, I'm thinking of a 395!
@@InTheWoodyard or mod the 572’s. A muffler mod improves performance drastically.
Busy man. Glad you got some help stacking. Can’t wait to see the big Oak fellings! 👍🏻
Help is nice!
