On the event days (first Sunday of every month from May-October), there is so much more going on and is definitely worth visiting again for one of those days. This year is the 50th anniversary of BWLR and the celebrations will be held on Sunday 1st June. The event is set to be one of the biggest event days the railway has ever had. It is planned to have at least three steam locomotives, some diesel locomotives, road steam engines, bar, band, American fire engine, Dutch street organ, tractor trailer rides and lots more. There is more information on my channel and on the railway’s website. It is certainly going to be worth visiting.
